In many rooms the main door was jammed. This created a lot o noise not only for us but for all other guests. Also disturbing our sleep. Many doors have to be fixed! Our shower head was broken and they did not have anyone to fix it. Our room was also 60% clean.

A practical base to explore Rome

With thanks to friendly staff we enjoyed our stay ait Ibis Roma Fiera. Our Standard room could best be described as Basic. The airco (much needed!!) was not functioning at all, staff could not help us with this. The alternative -opening the windows- was unbearable due to noise and smell from adjacent motorway. The boxspring bed was not springy at all and the top matrass was well worn, lumpy and unsupportive. Cleaning was superficial, lots of dust and hair under our bed and in corners, molding in the bathroom corners as well (4th floor). Breakfast was hardly worth this description. Some (extremely) sweet -bought in- rolls, dull cereals with sweetened yoghurts and dried out white slices of bread (and a toaster luckily). Coffee from a (free) vending machine was decent and just adequate. Not really an Italian experience..... Luckily Rome is on it's doorstep with public transport (EUR 1,50 autobus line 128 to trainstation Muratella (3 stops) and from there to Rome by train to Rome Trastevere, San Pietro or Ostiene for EUR 1,00 per person, single journey, each quarter of an hour during daytime). As stated in the title Ibis Rome Fiera is a practical base to explore Rome but lacks finesse, thoroughness, cleanliness and is just nut up to scratch, unfortunately. Would I go there again? Yes because of it's convenient location (10 min. drive with hourly shuttle-bus from Rome Fiumicenca Airport) and acceptable pricing. Last advice; do visit Restaurant Di delizi di Leo on Via Arturo Mercanti 42 directly opposite the rear entrance of the hotel. Good fresh meals for small money!!

I had a short stay at Ibis, however the garage availability,the warm welcome and support of the hotel staff,cleaning of the room and its parquet,and the very appreciated fresh "Cornetto" available at 5:00 AM made me very happy.

We were not happy for the one night stay simply because we had to visit near by marriot hotel for meal. The room was OK with our budget, but the breakfast and dinner was not good. Limited choice of food for dinner yet very expensive and the breakfast was even awful. We had breakfast in ibis Paris and it was wonderful but ibis Roma We will never go there again.

After trying to call the hotel multiples times, as well as emailing both the individual hotel and the hotel chain, I could not get through to anyone. The hotel shuttle was over a half hour late to pick us up from the airport, and then took us an hour to get to the hotel. Lastly, the breakfast was nothing desirable and not worth the fee. Overall deeply disappointed with our stay.

everything went fine , the unique option i can raise is the cleaning of the room ; for all the three Days, I noticed that same dusty on the floor , it's symptom that a part the bed accommodation nothing else have been done in the room . about the bathroom , the WC is not so well presenting with yellow sign inside .

Staff were great, room clean and very helpful staff. We were there 3 nights, quiet place and nice view from New Year’s Eve fire work as well. I will definitely recommend friends to choose this hotel, price was very reasonable as well.

Good for overnight stay close to Roma airport

As long-term customer for Ibis, I found this hotel convenient for a quick overnight stay close to Rome airport. However, the hotel mildly fell short of my expectations from Ibis. Online check-in required nearly twice the amount to be reserved on credit card than the room price. The room was mostly OK except for a few sanitary issues: used towel found in the bathroom. Also the TV did not work. For a one night stay these were minor inconveniences and we did not have time to report them. Would recommend for travellers needs to spend some time between flights at Roma Fiumicino.

Though one may find the location of the hotel not very convinient as it's located near the city's border, but it's really comfortable, the team is great and very helpful and the price is mostly affordable. It wasn't the first time I stayed here, and I hope not the last. Note that the best way (if not by car) to come here is to the railway station Muratella and then 3 stops by bus number 128.

The hotel is about 15 km from the airport. It was weekend when I spent night there. So, no traffic problems at all to get there or to the airport. Hotel shuttle service worked like it should. I don't know what'll be during the working days.

Our initial check-in was friendly, efficient and helpful.Hotel well placed for access to the airport and we were able to get a bus into Rome.Bar service was very slow.However the stay was let down by the non-availability of several items on the dinner menu.Shuttle to the airport is a good service but it was over booked and therefore not enough space for safe stowage of suitcases.
