ibis Como Hotel 3 stars

Niente da eccepire, Everything was according to my expectations, as this was already my second stay at this hotel

Upon arrival the staff of the hotel were very helpful, the check-in was fast and the overall info we received were to the point

Nice and clean room, good breakfast with wide choice of food and beverages, big private parking area. Compliments to the staff members.

Covid restrictions, have removed consumables from the rooms and introduced a ridiculous queuing system at breakfast. Go to the Capriccio next door!

Having stayed 10 years at this hotel I was expecting the usual painless experience. After swallowing the massive hike in price since last and previous years. (I understand the Covid tax). I booked 3 rooms at the hotel , 2 on the Accor app and one through Booking.com. The third booked with breakfast the same as the other two. Apparently it was my fault and after being inferred a liar by the manager and to avoid a further heated discussion, I ended up paying again for the guys breakfast. Close on £1200 for three rooms and to have that attitude is not right.

Third time stay. Rooms are fine. Breakfast was not oke this time. Staff was friendly but bread was sold out at 8.30 o'clock. Only mini croissants and packed toast available. We are not used to this at accor hotels.

In spite of late arrival, Covid-measures and a EC-soccer match we had a pleasant stay in Ibis Como and enjoyed a nice dinner (we suspect the cook stayed longer for us (thanks!)). All staff was flexible, adequate and friendly.

The hotel is next to the motorway and enough places for the car for free. If you don't want to go by car, there are two bus lines C 60 and C 62 connecting you with Como. The rooms are quiet. Breakfast was served due to Corona in a package. There was no restaurant but commercial center 600m away from the hotel.

A typical IBIS with spacious rooms which was a surprise. The location is OK if you want to break your trip into two parts and visit Como. The rooms are quiet. The breakfast is good for the price you pay.

Very friendly staff. I use the Hotel when driving down to Milan - safe Parking which is a very important issue when in Italy.. While in Como Hotels are applying extra charges. Arriving late and leaving early IBIS is a good option and easy to reach from the Autotrada .
