The housekeeper went into the room during my absence and took photographs, which she later showed to staff members downstairs at the reception. WOW just WOW. 1. That is against the law. 2. That's so NOT done. All I did was ask why the fridge wasn't working (it had not been cleaned and prob sitting still over many months) Upon ordering a drink at the bar, the barwoman snapped back: "I know my job" when I only asked for a drink to be prepared my preferred way. Upon check out a receptionist went straight up to check the room. I mean really...! A French couple was quoted Euro 30 less for the room. That's called that discrimination based on national origin. This place needs some attention. It's not worth the money spend. The hallways and carpets are very dirty. The fridge in the room hadn't been checked and didn't work. The majority of the staff is unwelcoming, I'd say even hostile. Perhaps they don't like foreigners? They're eating lunch while right next to the reception desk, while you're waiting. The parking is 16 euro/night (not published on the website) and you have to walk dragging your luggage halfway down the street.

Walking distance from every where in Millau and with parking (for a fee) making it an ideal location for viewing the local area. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, everything was totally clean with all the rules followed and enforced. We had a great stay and will return.

Hotel easy to find. Disappointed with overall condition considering as it is billed as a 4*. Didn't help that the restaurant was closed being Sunday. Staff were friendly and helpful.

As always with Mercure the staff were excellent. They are unfailingly helpful, courteous and unhesitatingly go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a good one. The hotel itself is past its best. It is, without question, the shabbiest Mercure that I have ever stayed in. All of the carpets need cleaning and much in the way of R&R. I would guess that the hotel was once another chain and that a good interior designer was given not enough money to refurbish. S/he did their best but it simply doesn't work. The hotel felt a bit "cheap".

This is the worst Mercure Hotel I've stayed in, the interior is in need of refurbishment and because of that it's definitely not good value for money. Best bit was the secure parking. Breakfast was OK

Take care of your money if you choose this hotel - one of the staff is a thief! I had 400 euros stolen from a purse concealed well within a closed bag whilst at breakfast! A shame as it spoiled what would have been a lovely stopover.

The room superb, view amazing, comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely. BUT one of the staff came into the room during breakfast, searched our bags very thoroughly and stole 400 euros from a well hidden purse. I didn't discover the theft until later when I went to take money from it.

Too expensive for what was provided - wish we’d saved money and stayed at the Ibis

Staff were polite and helpful. Room was good size and bed was comfy. We have stayed at the Ibis in Millau a few times and thought we would upgrade to the Mercure (we have stayed at many ibis, Novotel and Mercure hotels). This was not an upgrade at all. Couldn’t believe there was no fridge in the room. The breakfast was truly dreadful. When we arrived (9.35) there was a scraping of scrambled egg and no other hot food, but when asked they did bring more although it was cold left-overs. There was no bread left and both coffee machines were out of water. There were no place settings at the tables and plates etc. were not easy to find. We really wish we’d saved our money at stayed at the Ibis. This hotel I’d defiantly not worth the extra money.

We arrived at 15.00 and the roomallocated to us was not cleaned. I asked for another room. I was surprised there was not a safety deposit box in every room beating in mind the cost of this Mecure. I asked for a room with one and they said that they would charge an extra €11.50 which I thought was wrong since our room was not ready however in the morning no extra charge for this was made...so thank you. The show holder could not retrain the shower head and the extractor fan in the bothroom didn't work. I would have expected these things to have been seen to.
