We have to cut trip short as we had to get home early as they where shutting boarders. All our tour closed as of virus. But would come back to Adelaide one day.

I was disappointment as I requested the room next to my daughter as I was babysitting for them and we ended up around the corner and not near their room. I thought I paid extra and it was confirmed that I was next door to their room. I was quite annoy and disappointed with this.

I know things aren’t quite normal at the moment but that doesn’t excuse the disgraceful breakfast that was served up. The food that was served and the way it was served was terrible. Serving so called breakfast in a brown paper was very unprofessional. We had to order collect and take it back to our room. Our package included a buffet breakfast with our 2 night stay . We couldn’t go through that again so we ate elsewhere the second morning. Surely you could have served breakfast as room service with proper cutlery and crockery. it takes a lot for me to complain but this topped me over Thank you

I understand your frustration with how our breakfast is currently served, please understand this is not the standard that we usually have. Unfortunately, due to the current policies that have been set by the Prime Minister of Australia, we as a hotel must follow and oblige the policy to only serve food in take away style. This unfortunately means not only serving food in take away containers but also means we must serve drinks and cutlery in plastic/paper. Our guest and staff safety during COVID-19 is our main priority to eliminate the spread of this virus. I am truly sorry that your experience with us was not what you hoped for. The Accommodation met our needs well, but we did not like the shower in the bath during our first visit. On the second visit we had a stand alone shower which was much safer for elderly clients

When asked to get us a Taxi the Concierge asked about our destination and told us about the Train station across the road, which was very easy to access. We were going to the Outer Harbour to catch a Boat and the train trip went right there and saved us approximately $70 in a taxi fare. We were most appreciative of this advice. On our return the same Concierge gave us some great information about getting around on the City Tram network. Made our visit much easier. We were caught up in the Carvid19 virus and the Hotel was most helpful with allowing us a much earlier than usual check-in when our Ship was turned back much earlier than expected. Difficult times made easier by the Hotel Staff. Thank You

The staff were very pleasant at check in and check out. The drop off zone in the front of the hotel is very small and we missed the drive way kn our first pass. We did like the location within the CBD.

The room was nice but some decaf coffee would have been welcome. The breakfast I ordered was late and cold. The room wasn’t serviced so no milk in the fridge for coffee in the last day. I know we are in the midst of a pandemic but these are little things. Always happy to come get the milk if I know you’re not entering rooms.

While I'm pleased to read you found our location great, it however saddened me to read that was all you liked about your stay with us. We have a strange layout here at our hotel, being that we were built 100 years ago we have a different structure compared to modern day hotels. Our standard rooms are internal rooms that unfortunately yes only look out onto a brick wall, I am very sorry the room did not meet your expectations, I can assure you the other room categories are different and not all the same. DISSAPOINTED. Firstly we arrived at 11.30 am to be told that the room was not ready. That was ok. The staff member advised us that they would ring us when room was ready. We came back to reception at 1pm and sat in waiting area until 2pm and then approached desk to find the room was ready some time ago. After we had unpacked we found that the fridge was not working which we needed. I contacted the desk to be told a replacement was not possible but a room change was possible. So we repacked and moved. First night ok but second night just as approaching bed time the fire siren went off not once but twice only to be told at desk was a false alarm. NOT MAKING FOR A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. After that the rest of our stay was quite comfortable

Staff all very pleasant. Rooms clean. Location central to city. Alas felt like we were in a box . We did have a window but it was whited out. We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights so this wasn't ideal.
