We were going to a concert at the convention center and the close location was excellent at a reasonable price. We spoke to at least 4 different front desk staff and each and every one was friendly and helpful. Your staff by far are you best asset. We were on the 3rd floor and the candy machine and the second lift were out of order but your customer service eclipsed any of these small flaws.

Room was clean, bed very comfy. Excellent location for us to walk to Adelaide oval to watch the footy. Service was good. Only negatives are carpets and curtains looked like they could do with a deep clean and noisy during night but that’s to be expected in the city on a Saturday night. Also not enough sugar/tea/coffee provided.

Location was perfect. Shower floor needs to be scrubbed - there was a slippy layer on the surface of residue. Room was freezing during the night - only a sheet on the bed. Couldn’t get windows to open and so there was no fresh air in the room the whole stay. Only one lift working when the hotel was busy, made it a complete nightmare - the stairwell had a strong scent of urine which made them unusable. The room was cleaned each day and was cleaned very well. Staff were very friendly and professional.

The hotel is well located but is very tied, stains on carpet, room dusty, bed leg missing, no aircon, holes in curtins and was not advised that the dining room was not operating and there was only limited breakfast

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and discomfort you experienced during your stay, but we would like to thank you for identifying an under-performance in our cleaning standards. We are currently working closely with the housekeeping management & team to improve the standards throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, being an older hotel, the building itself has a centralised air-conditioning system, due to which we do not have individual temperature controls in the room. We apologies for any discomfort you experienced during your stay. The hotel has undergone a name change and re-branding as of the 10th February. We have permanently closed our restaurant down indefinitely; this was not a decision made lightly, all our websites have been updated with this information. We are now only offering an express continental breakfast every morning that continues to serve pastries, cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. I am very sorry this isn't the breakfast you were hoping for, I will share your feedback with our management team. I am sorry that on this occasion we did not meet full expectations, but I assure you the areas of concern you have raised will be follow-up by our hotel management. Know the temperatures in winter in Adelaide, you guys need to have a heater in the room as it gets pretty cold.

room tarif & location are the main advantge This hotel does need upgrading to include dinning & bar facilities. the car park entrance is some what awkward to access .I first stayed at this Hotel inDEC1971!!!

I requested a quiet room on upper floor, but finally what I got was a room with loud engines noise on 2nd floor! I think the central air con unit might be nearby. In my room all windows with frosted glass are locked, its made me feel it is a jail cell!

The hotel was gross, the stairwell stunk of urine. The in-rokm fridge had nothing but milk - not sure why my credit card was logged. Overall the hotel let's down the accord brand

Suppose to be 2pm checking we didn't get into our room till 3.30 apparently because the people before had late check out...got to room theses a bit ugly portable bed in the living area which was odd and had most uncomfortable night the aircon was not working...one of the worst stays I have had in a hotel!

I have stayed at this hotel before, however it has really gone down hill. The central heating was not working, my room was freezing cold and I had to request a separate heater for my room. Only one elevator was working, the hotel was quite full, as there was a big conference across the road. At times you had to wait 20 mins to get in. The breakfast was interesting with disposable everything, however I was happy there were gluten free options available. The Grosvenor is a grand old lady hotel, I think a major renovation is needed and the star rating needs to change to reflect that this hotel is a shadow of its former self.

Many good things about this hotel, but unfortunately beds were not one of them. Bathroom was brand new and renovated, budget rooms were large. 2x beds. One was memory foam and the other a very squeaky squishy bed. Staff were super friendly and professional, located on Nth Terrace opposite the train station was handy. Price great when using the great state voucher!

Disappointed there isis no longer a kitchen at the hotel

We arrived late, we weren't given the heads up that kitchen staff had been made redundant and there was no restaurant any longer. So we had to head out for dinner instead of settling in for the night. Extremely disappointed they've closed the kitchen. Meals always great and very inconvenient at times not being able to eat in after a long day.
