Breakfast fine, carparkimg OK, but the room was not a great success. No USB sockets unless you use the TV (so only charge when TV is on); a random alarm call button on a cord was under the bedside shelf, and when the phone was moved away that caused the alarm to sound (a continuous shrill beep). That was fixed by hotel staff but why was it even there when it was not a disabled access room and there was no warning or info about it? The overbath shower would not run hot on both mornings- it would start at warmish and then deteriorate to cool. On the second morning workmen were apparently upgrading windows across the corridor which led to a strong and unpleasant chemical solvent smell coming into my room. All round not a great experience!

I've stayed at the Novotel Bristol City Centre 3 times previously. Each stay has been comfortable with good facilities as l love the steam and sauna! The breakfast is satisfying, which sets me up for the day. Dinner is delicious too - compliments to the chef.

Nice quiet and comfortable rooms. Nice bar and restaurant. 10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Hotel Car parking is a little expensive but convenient.

Building work taking place outside hotel, also some man was knocking out door around 6am asking to borrow a mobile phone
