« Not up to standard »

The room was cold which was reported. Also given a heater which started to smoke the room and it tripped off, we then had to open windows to remove smoke. Also on my return home, I find my debit card had been charged full amount even though short break was paid for with Tesco vouchers.

On a more positive note, I understand that the team did realise that a mistake had occurred regarding your billing and the use of Tesco Vouchers which was promptly corrected upon being alerted. « Generally comfortable and great breakfast! »

The service at the front desk was very good, although there was a long queue to get our room key. The room was clean and comfortable except for the pillows, which both my wife and I found uncomfortable. Breakfast was really good with a wide choice, we'll cooked and presented very well in the buffet. The location of the hotel suited us and having parking for our car at the hotel was extremely useful. Hopefully the second lift will be repaired soon as the one working lift struggles during busy periods such as when people are checking out. Overall I recommend the hotel for along weekend stay in Bristol or an overnight business trip

« Disappointingly poor »

Very basic. You could not give what you said you could offer. The stay was rather like a political manifesto...... all promise but little reality. Reception staff very pleasant but when asked for simple things like a blanket - it was cold and air conditioning in our room only delivered cold or cool air- no blanket arrived.

« A pleasant short stay »

The room was very good except for a couple of items. We found the pillows quite uncomfortable and our kettle was not working - it was unable to be fixed. The breakfast was really nice and a good selection of items. We had a round of drinks in the lounge before we went to bed and found it quite an expensive experience. It was a good that we had gone out to a pub for our pre-dinner drinks. Overall, happy with the stay and we would do so again.

When arriving I was given room 229, unfortunately it was already occupied, the staff on the desk were very apologetic as they had a new computer system, they very kindly give us a complimentary drink voucher. They did their best about the situation.

« Fairly tired hotel with poor customer service »

One of the bedside lights did not work and it was not fixed although reported. The advance invoice did not include the Reward Points used for the booking and we had to discuss this with reception. The scrambled egg for breakfast was very poor and was swimming in liquid.

« The room was too cold »

Overall the stay was ok. The breakfast was great and delicious, the room clean and spacious. The main issue I had was the AC. It didn't work properly and the room was really cold. I had it set on 30°C all the time and it was still really cold. Hope this will get fix in the future because I know other guests had this issue too.

« Overall experiance was really good just a few small things that I was unhappy with. »

I found the overall stay with you very good but... the heating in room 118 didn't work and found myself awake a lot of the night due to this and I had the thermostat up to 30!
