Very nice, but we were disappointed with the dining room and the food on offer. We were the only couple in there all the time we were in there However the continental breakfast was excellent Call me old fashioned but I personally preferred the before you made the recent changes but I am sure young people prefer it.

This hotel was good. Small room though clean and presentable! The staff were friendly especially when our adaptor broke lending us a spare one for the 4 days we were there. Perfect location for travelling around London!

The towels smelt odd. May be from odd smelling washing powder. The mandarin & peaches were not a good choice for breakfast. Why on earth didn’t the hotel offer prunes & grapefruit which is normal breakfast choices? Also there were no earl grey tea bags for breakfast. Any other hotel I’ve stayed at even little b & b’s offer earl grey tea bags as norm. These things will stop me from choosing IBIS again

« Very basic hotel in an awful area »

Sorry that I couldn't speak to Mr. Yanis, the managing director, to report to him how the welcome is uncomfortable, The check-in counters on a round table in the middle of the hall are simply an unpleasant way to register, especially when you own a Gold member card... even your staff does not like the way the customers have to check-in but it seems that you do not listen to them..

The only issue I had was with the automatic addition of 10 % on the bills in the bar area. I feel it should be at my discretion when I took and how much. Other than that the accommodation was fine and location for central London was great.

The room was kinda hot, and we couldn't change the temprature. The shower water was the worse thing! It was really cold or really hot.. If we were lucky, we could set the temprature but it would change from hot to cold all the time, the whole shower. The breakfast was boring, didn't have much of a taste.

« A bit away from it all »

Room was comfortable enough for an Ibis. Not a brand new place, but worth considering if the price seems right. Location of hotel itself is a bit away from parts of London most visitors aim at, but doable with public transport and enough time on hand. Reception is a bit too "open" - round table in the middle of the lobby. If there is more than one guest checking in, how do you keep track of who was first in the line!? No dedicated priority check-in for loyal customers either. Receptionists were friendly and helpful, missing soap in soap dispenser in our room was refilled while we were out, so no complaints here. Pub on the premises is a good feature, absolutely worth a visit if you don't want to go looking for alternatives in the neighbourhood.

I choose to stay at ibis hotels are they offer good value,as did the Earls Court hotel when I stayed there but the thing that stood out for me was the service I received when I checked in,a lady by the name of Violet helped me to fix a booking as I had to add an extra night,she had a wonderful personality and sense of humour which helped settle me as I was jet lagged and tired,she even upgraded me to a higher grade apartment. The hotel is very central with good quality shops and restaurants near-by with easy access form Heathrow and London,I will definitely be staying there again next time I'm in London

« Solid unspectacular accommodation - room in need of a refresh, decent breakfast. »

The Hotel was well located for the purposes of this business trip, exhibiting at London Olympia. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of a refurbishment - the bed was very firm. The breakfast was of a decent standard and plentiful - we did not have our evening meals in the hotel restaurant.
