The hotel appears to have seen better days. One of our rooms had a dirty toilet (which was promptly resolved), and our room was noisy. It was not to the standards I expect of a 4star hotel. The breakfast was nothing special at all, especially for the price. I have had much better at more modest establishments.

Well located this hotel offers nice rooms in a beautiful building. Our room was sunny with two windows. There was only a coffee machine and no kettle. Just for coffee lovers no tea ones. Obviously because of the C19 there was no service inside the room. Restaurant with a nice terrace outside was pleasant greatly helped with a efficient waiter. Food was ok except on Friday barbecue night which was disappointing.

I have stayed many times at the Mecure Le Mans..and the one thing that I feel could be easily improved..is the poor Quality of the bathroom towels...too few..too small and interior quality. Other than that..a great place to stay

This was a one night stopover. The hotel is quite well situated, close to the town centre but accessible for the autoroute. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Note that there is ample street parking nearby and that currently (summer 2020) you can park for 1 hour for free. This means that if you arrive in the evening, you can get a free ticket from the machine which takes you to 10am the next day.

Ok but not as good as previous stays in Mercure hotels.

Beautiful building, staff very helpful. Unfortunately, there was a plasticy mattress protector which meant we were uncomfortable as this made us sweat all night

The hotel used to be an insurance office of some importance in the area and dating back to 1833. Our room was fine although the view was not very inspiring; the back of other buildings. I have an Accor Gold card and usually get a room upgrade, but not this time despite the hotel being fairly empty. We were only told on arrival that the restaurant was closed on Sundays, but the staff did point out a very good restaurant about 20 minutes walk into the old town.

We were upgraded to a privileged room,which was extremely comfortable and quiet, tbe receptionist was very helpful,and provided a map of the city without any pompting,the only aspect which was a bit disappointing, and wasnt in keeping with Accor standards, was there was no bar staff when we arrived,and we had to wait an abnormally long time before being served.

We have stayed here a few times now. It is always a pleasant experience and it's in a convenient location for all the restaurants and bars in Le Mans. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size. The only comment we have is that it's a shame that you have paper coffee cups in the rooms. For the price of the rooms (and for the environment) it would be nice to have proper cups.

We used this hotel for a one night stop as we wanted to be near the city centre for restaurants & sightseeing - it met all expectations. The secure parking (13 euros per day) was easily accessed, the room was very comfortable and very quiet, with a kettle and the reception staff advised an area for restaurants.
