As General Manager to send me this survey on a cancelled reservation -- i am shocked--but that is ACCOR HOTELS. The res office of Accor here in Spain are so unhelpful and unprofessional in my opinion. They do not speak English. So i have stopped using ACCOR Hotels--- i hold Lifetime status with the major groups and will not be insulted by these awful rude people in ACCOR Spain res office.

The hotel is very good, but the garage no... The price of the garage is expensive because I paid more than 300 reais stayed. The value should be reduced when people stay longer because I stayed for 3 weeks.

I found the hotel to need updating in the halls and rooms. My door was missing the security lock. The bathroom was old. There was mold in the shower around the doors. The towels were worn and dingy. Breakfast was ok but did not change from day to day. Room service was only slightly better, but having no english speaking employees at dinner time made ordering a challenge.

Incompetent Front Reception Has No Regards For ACCOR Members!

In all my years of Globetrotting, staying at numerous ACCOR chains of Hotels and being a GOLD ACCOR Member in good standing. This totally Unprofessional Hotel’s Management is just about the worst experience I have ever encountered in the entire hospitality industry in all my years! THEIR EXTREMELY PREJUDICIAL TREATMENTS TO CERTAIN GUESTS REALLY IRKS AND DISGUSTS ME! They have no regards nor respect for their ACCOR members. I have stayed a total of 3 nights and on the 4th night which is my last night, the supervisor wanted to evict me from my room to make way for another guests! Am I also not a guest? I have been staying in the same room for the past few nights and now they want to downgrade me to a much smaller room on a lower and noisier floor. Even my GOLD status privileges with ACCOR doesn’t mean SQUAT to them! I am Livid for being so prejudicially mistreated. I reserved and paid exactly what was stipulated in the ACCOR website. What made me any less important as a GOLD ACCOR Member; that I have to vacate my room for another guest whom I reckon is not even an ACCOR Member and have my quiet peaceful stay abruptly and rudely disrupted?? I implore everyone to reconsider making reservations with this unethical Mercure Manaus Hotel and if you still insist on staying with them at your own peril; then it’s imperative that you exercise care and caution when dealing with this unprofessional, unscrupulous and Uncivilised Supervisor. ** “I made my payment for my room charges earlier on and when I requested for a receipt on the morning of 9th September from the fat front reception girl; only to have her lie to me that the computer was down and out; however when a senior gentleman staff appeared from the office and I asked him again, he printed out my receipt without the slightest hesitation! His efficiency was impressive, commendable and impressive! The fat Reception and another taller girl gave me the most contemptuous glare as if I just stole something from them!?!” ** Your Disgusted Guest, Eric Room 1106.

We booked this room on the way back from the forest. We were exhausted and had a plane during the night. We use the room to take a refresh ourself. That’s all. However, as we left the Mercure Manaus at 12 am we didn’t enjoy the breakfast even we have pay for this service! Also, we asked many time for an iron. That was impossible!

I had higher expectations as per my past experiences in Mercure Hotels around the world. The room was complete, but dull. Towels were not sufficient for all family members, although the number of guests for each room (we had two rooms with 2 and 3 persons) were well noted. Breakfast buffet was a bit short in variety and quality.
