Stopped at this hotel many times this will be the last for a four star Mercure it lets the brand down. Very tired!!! This particular visit the breakfast and service no other word for it Atrocitious .a French hotel with no pattiseries and stale bread and cooked food which was cold and swimming in fat. Receptionist/Waitress totally uninterested. The night before stayed at Ibis Cahors everything was excellent just goes to prove bathrobes and slippers do not a good hotel make. John Denholm

Breakfast was awful with one employee handling reception and kitchen duties at the same time. She was overwhelmed so the breakfast was constantly missing some things. You should hire more people.

« 4 star hotel that should give better value for the money »

I have stayed in many 4 star hotels around the world. Some of these belong to the Accor hotel chain and some to other chains. In this hotel the value you get for the money you pay is considerably lower then in other hotels. There is no one big thing here that led me to writing the above - it is a lot of small things: - The lobby is small and feels "cheap". - Breakfest is dull and is exactly the same every day with no changes. The variety is ok, but can be much better. The eggs are always under cooked and un-eatable. - The rooms are clean but the decor feels "cheap" and should be upgraded. - Toiletries are a in a very low level. Shampoo in the shower and a single bar of hand soap is a very low level (No conditioner, body lotion or anything else). towels are small and not very fun to use. - The safe in the room is so small that you can't even fit a laptop in it. - Elevator feels unsafe when using it (jumps up and down every time). - Safety: none! Anyone can come in and go up to the rooms. The hotel is located in an industry area and should be safer, like enforcing a key card in the elevator or a guard at the entrance. The staff is noce but anyone can walk in with no questions. - No vending machines or a small store to buy stuff. Not to mention that there is no ice machine.

Overall very good, staff were excellent and I really appreciated the room upgrade, my only complaint is the air con didn't work as I was at front of building I couldn't open window due to traffic noise so room was very stuffy.

A/C was not working . Despite our claim nothing was done and we had to open the windows open due to the unbearable heat. Needless to say that given that the hotel is located close to a highway, we did not sleep !

The stay was very satisfactory. The staff was cordial, the rooms were very clean. The rooms were small which was not a negative for us as we only used them for sleeping and bathing. We would use this hotel again.

Pleasant hotel with a comfortable room. Ideal for breaking the journey from South of France to Roscoff. We didn't use the restaurant, but the menu looked good.
