Hotel is well maintained and close dining out places..Stay was comfortable. Staff was courteous right from checkin to checkout. Onsite hotel manager (Ammar) made sure stay was comfortable. Breakfast buffet had variety and the restaurant staff was helpful to needs. The lady at restaurant entrance was friendly and helped provide masks on requests and also gave kids balloons and activity books which made them super happy!! Will definitely pick same place next time we visit.

not good entrance at all, very hard parking, and not clean. room was very bleak and lights were very bad as one of the light was flashing and things seemed very old and . room did not smell natural clean and bathroom was same, low ceiling. staff were friendly and nice. I blame management for not keeping up with the name of Sofitel, i felt like being in backstreet 3 star hotel. I sensed it when I called the hotel to book after I asked your employee for a late checkout and he refused in a "its our policy" way! I never had that issue when I go to other hotels , but I had more faith on the Sofitel name, I was unfortunately mistaken and it will be my last time. no wonder it was so cheap! and the design of the what's called "suite" was so ugly and stupid. I am sorry if I was harsh, but I am a business owner and I always look forward for honest feedback and Im sure you do too.

One of the things that bothered me the most is when I call the reception on my last night to ask about the possibility of a late checkout.. It took a lot of time to answer the call and when they did it was in an extremely rude way. He told us we have until 1:00 p.m. which was okay, and then he hung up the phone while I was talking and asking about something else!!!!! Other than that, stay was okay, balcony overlooking the sea was spacious.. room was alright - might benefit from some re-decorating. Overall, would not visit again and would not recommend anyone to stay there.

I thought I was in an apartment, not in a Sofitel hotel. The room furniture was not 5 star hotels and so is the cleanliness. I will not book again in the hotel.

It was a wonderful time but hotel need badly renovations, particularly rooms are out dated! Bed room and entire connectivity services need complete revamp to stay in latest hospitality market to capture good market share. Excellent Brand but poor product doesn't work together! Need to fix! Every time delay in giving room & ordered food comes late

Almost all the time when you arrive the hotel they make it delay in giving room either in between 1/2 he to 2 hours .... Still in the reception area waiting from almost 2 hours .... IDK the reason when asked him he is telling I came here w/o reservation... Why don't Sofitel remove on arrival booking then .... No proper way of speaking by the guy

Overall it was a good experience but from a family perspective not the best - women cannot use the gym, swimming pool, or spa. We checked this beforehand so the compromise was taken. I'm hoping this will change in the future. Room was comfortable and nice, with lovely view of the sea. However, what disappointed me was the lack of awareness among some of your staff. I called the hotel, before making a booking, to check which room to book to ensure we get a balcony. The room I was told to book was a Luxury Room. Now, the room we received did not have a balcony, so either I was given the wrong information and booked the wrong room or I was placed in the wrong room. I know the website did not state balcony but I couldn't find any of the rooms stating them having a balcony (maybe fully booked) hence I called to check. I did not complain because there are only so many battles you want to pick after a 4-hour drive. However, thought I should bring this to you attention.

The room smelled bad and was not prepared with all the stuff that are supposed to be there such as tooth brushes and we could not sleep all night because of noise that was coming from the upstairs. To be honest, it was my first time but I did not expect this hotel to be like that.

POSITIVES Rooms are comfortable and well styled with an exceptionally excellent view. Staff is really friendly and helpful. NEGATIVES There is a bad sewerage smell in the bathroom which seems to emanate from the sink. I had to keep on spraying perfume to try to mask the smell. The green velvet seating in the breakfast restaurant is disgustingly dirty. Those seat should be recovered with material that is easier cleaned. Under current circumstances of a world health crisis it is completely unacceptable for a high profiled hotel, like Sofitel, to be that dirty. The children pasta art in the room looks completely out of place for a hotel of your stature. The breakfast was not good, I did have a higher expectation. Your smoking area, in front of the hotel, is very poorly placed. A smoking area should not be in a high foot traffic area where most guest wonder past. A covered smoking area with seating could easily be created behind the building, which would be out of the way of non-smoking guest and other foot traffic.

When I came to check in, even though I checked in online two days ago, the receptionist asked to have a seat and wait. By the way I came 4:20 way beyond the check in time. Then she came to me telling that I have to wait 45 minutes. I was under pressure as I have to prepare myself for meeting and connect to my laptop. That was not good experience at all. I had to call the manager to sort this out for me. The manager came and told the receptionist to give me my room and she did right away!!! It seems only the manager can assign the rooms.

Overall stay was great, though check-in took longer than expected and couldn't sort the room availability at first instance with no upgrade provided. However, with support from Mr. Ammar and Miss Hajer from Club Millle were able to resolve the room issues (although no upgrade was provided). Mr. Ammar was very supportive and appreciate the hospitality by Mr. Ammar, will love to see again Miss Hajer was very professional and always welcome to help, would love to visit again. Precautionary measures during COVID time are well in place, areas are regularly sanitized. Dinner and breakfast exp were great as well. I missed the upgrade and welcome drinks with welcome amenities. Overall lover it and will like to visit again.
