Very outdated pretty much everything, interior design, quality etc. Restaurant menu very average with very minimum option. Customer service is worse, staff should get trained in Thailand, except couple of staff very attentive. Cleanliness is worse, carpet is full with hair, and common toilet in the main lobby is filthy.

Great rooms, great restaurant and great service! The hotel is above Central Station, so if you come by taxi or train it's very easy to access. It's 3 minutes walking distance to the shops and 5-10 to great restaurants, or 15 if you want to travel to South Bank

Accommodation for my wife [ disabled ] & self, 24& 25Apr22 [ ANZAC Day ]. Booking made Mar22 - room with walk-in shower ]. Arrived 2:30pm, but room with walk-in shower not available until 04:40pm. Had to wait in the foyer for 2+ hours. Hanna, on the desk, tried her utmost to make our wait more pleasant & solve the problem. On check-out, 26Apr22, was an overcharge of $39.00 for breakfast [ we had two breakfasts but were advised by breakfast check-in employee that we were entitled to one free breakfast ]. On check-out, I noticed the mistake & had to advise the desk check-out gentleman of the mistake. Account was adjusted. Thank you for the free parking for two nights - much appreciated. Also for the free parking for our daughter on ANZAC Day who had to care for my wife as I was marching on ANZAC Day. We always stay for two nights for ANZAC Day. Room was of excellent standard, comfortable. Alcohol drinks, very expensive.

Arrived at the hotel just after 2 pm to check in as I was attending an awards ceremony being held there. Was told my room was ready and they would contact me once it was. At 4.30 I returned to the hotel to enquire if the room was ready to be told it was and see that my luggage was still sitting in the front lobby on the trolley where I had placed it 2 and a half hours earlier. Was not up to the typical level of service and was very disappointing experience

We booked 3 rooms for my Mum's milestone birthday. The rooms are spacious, perfect for our family to hang out while a baby was asleep. I was told our rooms were all on the same floor before check-in, then again at check-in, yet only two of the rooms were on the same floor. Apart from this, the stay was great and we enjoyed the Lobby Bar and breakfast at the hotel which were fabulous.

Comfortable stay, discombobulated staff at front desk

Bonjour, Bonsoir .... walking up to the reception desk you are greeted warmly in French. Room information, keys, where to dine.... that dialogue is perfectly executed. You feel you have arrived at a luxury establishment. Where the cracks start to form is when you engage in the conversation and ask a question. In my instance, asking about the food in the restaurant just mentioned. Is it buffet or a-la-carte? To this you get a quizzical panicked looked. Reaching out for another staff member I am told that tonight it's a-la-carte only.... confusing because looking across the room.... it's clearly a buffet with loads of oysters and prawns. How about breakfast? How much is that? Again.... not sure.... had to ask someone else. Upon checking out, there is dispute about whether the charges can go back to the travel agency (which is on our itineraries and our internal travel person has confirmed is 100% the case). Situation was very awkward as I was with our most senior boss. Overall, it just seemed like a lack of training and ruined what could have been an exceptional customer experience.

I had a block of 9 rooms booked and quiet a few of them arrived after 4.00pm and were told that their rooms were not ready.

Loved this accomodation for a variety of reasons, location was perfect with the station located below the hotel, a nice little pub in the same facility, moving around Brisbane was super easy. The staff in all areas of the hotel were fabulous, we could not fault them, the young gentleman at the front desk in the restaurant made a point of personalising our visit every time by remembering our name and room number, as a platinum member the lounge was great with a view of the sunset in the evening, the staff were amazing, I could not fault the service in all areas, we will definately be back, would not consider anywhere else at this time.

Check in was great the room was great. But I was very disappointed I couldn't use my accor card in the bar area. On check in it should be made clear you can't use the accor car for discount in all restaurants within the hotel. I've had my card for 3 years but its had very little use. I am happy to discuss this further if you want to give ma a call 04….

We stayed at the Sofitel for two nights. It was an absolute delight to spend our time there. My wife and I enjoyed it. The views from the hotel are amazing. Most of all, everything iconic is located within walking distance.

Hotel was good, checkin no issues. Rooms clean and tidy. Booked the club package but disappointed in the offer in the club lounge. I have stayed at the Sofitel on Collins multiple times and used the club lounge which was impressive. The lounge facility/service/food was sub standard at Sofitel Brisbane Central. Breakfast on the other hand was very extensive which is up to the sofitel standard

Staying in hotels is a unique experience. It’s the way it should be because room service cleans the place. You can ask for cleaner towels. Or other products. I feel like I am taken care of. Especially when we were on holiday, I like Sofitel and typically do not write reviews. But because the holiday is for removing extra stress away. I recommend Sofitel or any other hotel. Ultimately you can say whatever, but a hotel experience is a hotel experience.

Great check in. Lovely staff. Lounge is open again so a great treat. Platinum status recognised which was appreciated. Two drinks vouchers - no alcohol in rooms as a welcome but two lovely chocolates, two small Perrier water and some tea. Room was lovely with a super view. Overall recommend.

I stayed here for two nights mainly for work. The hotel accommodated me to bring a guest up to the club lounge for a meeting which was much appreciated. The breakfast is impressive and a high level of cleanliness which can often fall away towards the end of service at other hotels. Pool and deck is relaxing, though you can be close to other guests and since you are surrounded by office towers, can feel there's an audience! Concierge was helpful and everyone I met was friendly and professional. My only gripe was check-in. It wasn't quite the 'welcome back!' I've had in other Accor hotels given my membership but was functional. The special requests weren't met and that's OK, but I think it would be nice to at least acknowledge them? Eg. 'I see you requested x but unfortunately we don't have it'. Why bother asking, to then not even acknowledge? It's OK if it can't be met but to not even acknowledge? I feel that's a let down.
