This is a simple hotel, but on the whole it’s good! Great location, although parking can be an issue as there is not enough space for all the cars, which is an issue! The staff are friendly on arrival and the hotel is clean! There is food and drink available via reception and an area where you can drink it or eat it. The rooms are simple and well appointed. No fuss, clean and simple.

The hotel was situated in excellent location to nearby tram line into Media City & Manchester City Centre, as well as a small shop & pub nearby. The room was clean & had the basic things you need for a night or two (towels, linen, soap). There was a big lack of plug sockets in the room - there was 1 by the TV, but not close to the bed or a mirror. It was however sufficient for 2 nights that I spent there. The friendliness of the staff members varied alot. A very helpful guy checked us in but other times we were not greeted well, and felt they were quite rude.

We stayed here for our trip to Manchester on the 15th July 2022. To say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel is an understatement. Firstly we requested a travel cot for our 1 year old. The room didn’t contain a cot however they stated he could sleep in a bunk bed, a 1 year old. Secondly we complained that there was no cot and around 10 minutes later a member of the staff arrived at the door with a laundry cart and stated that they didn’t have a travel cot and we were to put the baby in the cart for the night. I thought this was a joke but no she was deadly serious. We requested to speak to a manager and he arrived a short time later with a travel cot and single bed sheets. I asked him where the fitted sheets were for the cot and he stated that they do not own fitted sheets and that they always use these single bed sheets. I then spent the next 20 minutes explaining to the manager why I wasn’t putting my child’s life at risk. We then left the hotel and we’re told we would get a refund. They refunded half of the initial payment and then took it back around 7am the following morning and dispute numerous requests refused to push through our refund until the 2nd of August. Since then I have been in contact with another manager Nia Gizlane who basically couldn’t care less and it seems is doing nothing to change the hotels policy. I’ll repeat from the title DO NOT BOOK YHIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE YOU G CHILDREN.

Charged twice for my room and nightmare trying to get refunded!

This hotel charged me twice for my room! Tried numerous times to call and chase by email but very slow response. Terrible customer service.
