We had an accessible room on floor 1. The room itself is dark as it only has small windows, and when we used the main lights one was flickering (so we didn’t use it as it hurt our eyes. The bed was OK. The Shower was poor as the head was old and missing bits, but the pressure was good.. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. Poor service, very few items and they took ages to bring anything out, we checked out shortly after 10am to seek breakfast in the City. There needs to be big improvements as we don’t want to stay again.

If you want a comfortable bed for the night and very basic amenities this hotel serves the purpose. No hairdryer in very basic room, a little maintenance required, shelf missing on one side of bed, no hand towels etc. Have to say thIs is still excellent value for money. Coffee etc free in small eating area downstairs and parking onside.

Perfect location for public transport into Manchester and surrounding areas. The reception staff upon arrival were very nice and helpful explaing about the hotel and how to register your car in the car park. The rooms were very clean and functional great showers and good views across Salford. The rate I paid included breakfast which was self service continental and sausages and beans with unlimited coffee. The breakfast host Jo was fantastic really professional and had excellent customer service skills. NOTE TO HOTEL MANAGEMENT DO NOT REMOVE SAUSAGE AND BEANS FROM BREAKFAST MENU Overall a fantastic stay with great staff

I only stayed here while I was waiting for my flat to be ready. I arrived (not knowing the area at all) and the front of house was so rude. The car park was full (£8 per night to park) so was told to park in the overspill and was barely given the time of day when I asked for the directions. On my first night people were sick in the corridor. It was cleaned but nothing was done for the smell until I asked. Even then it was a basic air freshen and the smell returned a couple hours later for the remainder of my three night stay. TV was stuck on one channel but the shower was nice. Was thrilled to check out will not be returning and would advise others not to go.

I stayed at Ibis Budget for 3 nights.I asked staff to book me a taxi to airport and driver charged me £50!!So I would advise residents to arrange their own.A complete rip off for a journey normally costing between £25 -£30 maximum.Id lovely time and this just spoiled my trip.
