bad performance in service

All was okay except one service person at the entrance desk. We asked him for help with our lost luggage. He offered to call/mail the airport and asked us to leave the document with the claim with him. Unfortunately we did not have a copy. After the dinner he was gone. The next morning we asked the colleague and she did not know anything. She tried her best, but in the end the airport was never contacted and our document has disappeared. With the help of our driver we managed to get our luggage even without the claim document, but something like that should certainly not happen.

Home away from home in Tunis

Comfortable stay with professional and friendly staff. The only issue that requires improvement is: I stayed for 5 nights and therefore had 5 breakfasts at the hotel. Every morning I asked for an omelette with cheese - only once I got what I asked for. My colleagues that asked for scrambled eggs, got similar experiences. At the end it was a kind of a joke with us to see what we were getting... It was not a serious issue for me, but it should be fixed,(and by the way, I had the same happening to me in my previous stay around 3 or 4 years ago).Good luck in fixing such an old habit.

Perfect for my Business Trip

I had a very good stay at the Novotel during my visit to Tunis. The location is perfect to visit the nearby banks and businesses. The hotel is perfectly in line with Novotel standards. The room was practical with a very good work station good storage space and a comfortable bed. Facing the back of the building, it was also quiet. The gym is sufficiently equipped. The rooftop pool seems nice, but it was too cod to enjoy ! Most impressive was the staff, waiters in the restaurant, front desk, security, room service... als of them were very friendly and competent. Thankyou . I will return.

False advertised information

The hotel was good both comfortable and good postion to the centre. One major problem is that when i booked the room it was for 3 adults and selected a room for 3 adults. When we arrived the receptioist said that the 3rd bed in that room was small and not suitable for an adult. This left me booking another room which meant my stay costed me double than i planned for. ACCOR needs to ensure that they advertice correct information unless they want to be seen as unscrupolous and underhand to customers. I am still unsure if this was not a scam to get me to pay more but the jury still out on this.

I was treated as if i had arrived to my home. Being welcomed from the entrance by your name to the check in and during the stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Offered an upgrade of the room, and eating at the restaurant after a full day of meetings is like returning home for a relaxing time. Would highly suggest to stay at the Novotel In Tunis.

1) I was not picked up in the airport Sunday evening as confirmed 2) Monday I was not able to get help to find a charger for my labtop. Also I could not get any explanation as to why I was not picked up. Last but not least the hotel were not able to buy me a train ticket for Sfax. 3) Tuesday morning I paid 70 Dinar to the hotel and they would get me a charger. 5 min later I was told it was not possible anyway and they could still not help me. 4) Tuesday evening the restaurant was out of the first bottle of wine I chose. 5) Wednesday morning the kitchen was out of mushroom for my omelet 6) Wednesday I evening I sat down at a table NOT reserved, opened my labtop to start working, but I was told the table was reserved despite not sign. I sat down at another table and exactly the same happened again.

OK. Very polite staff. Close to airport. Expensive for what it is and not many options around the place for evening dinner. Rooms are tired. I wouldn't got here if it wasn;'t for the Accor points.....

Well located and friendly service . A few technical problems in the room (heating ...) were fixed reasonably quickly . Not a very varied offer at the bar if you want a quick snack in the evening . Do we need the live music every night ?

A very satisfactory stay, something I have come to expect from Novotel each time. Location was good, near to tourist attractions and also a Tunis Metro station (to travel to La Marsa, Carthage etc). Room was very comfortable but the minibar was not cooling properly (minor issue)
