After 3 years of Covid absence we returned to our second home in Bangkok and I have to say the hotel improved.Even the hotel comes in its years, it is still well maintained and kept well. The location is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The appartments are very clean (Cleaner than before Covid) and the breakfast has improved significantly. GM B.T and his staff are doing a great job and definitly we will come back.

Khianseng Families - TripAdvisor review
2nd stay at hotel since 2019. Great to see familiar friendly faces. The breakfast area is upgraded. Breakfast was made to order and served to maintain hygiene and freshness. Room was upgraded with ample space for family of 5. Washing machine with detergent is a thoughtful gesture.

It’s our 2nd time staying here. Great place to stay for family. Room are huge and very comfortable, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Great location as well, walking distant to BTS and Mall. Will definitely stay here again on next trip to bkk

Unhygienic Hotel with Bad WIFI

The wifi was bad and kept dropping despite us calling the front desk several times. We had the suite and the bed sheets were also dirty for 2 beds. It seemed to me that they were not changed from the previous use by another guest. I called the reception for a change of sheets in the evening around 9pm and was advised that the housekeeping had already left for the day. I asked for clean sheets so that I could do the change myself but the staff were unable to find anything for me and I ended up getting another blanket to lay over the dirty sheets. Water pressure is poor and my late evening shower was uncomfortable because the water temperature kept turning from burning hot to freezing cold without me even touching anything. My family member in another room also got a rash on his legs after sleeping there overnight. I suspect it was bed bugs which caused it. The accor website lists this hotel as 5 stars but in my opinion, it is only 3 stars. We were so disappointed with the service that we checked out the following day and booked into another hotel. We requested to speak to the manager in charge but they kept telling us that she was not available and was promised that they would drop an email to us but they have not done so.

I feel like I'm back to home after 3 years since my last tay in Grand Mercure Bangkok Aoke Residence. The people and staff are till very freindly and helped me a lot when I needed the Taxi during the raining eason in BKK. This hotel is definatley my number one choice if I'm coming back to Bangkok. I recommend people who are looking for quiet and good location hotel then this can be your first choice. See you again soon in Grand Mercure BKK Asoke Residence!
