I choose the brand as a I am an Accor members for years. It was in the nice area of hivernage in Marrakech. Very friendly staff especially veggie lady at the front desk and I asked for a bathrobe and flattas, which due to pandemic they don’t have. But they made sure to find one for me. I got upgraded and all in all I highly recommend it.

Great location, friendly front desk staff. The breakfast selection is somewhat limited, you have to physically order eggs from the staff. If you like omelette, the only choice is plain or cheese omelette. But the room is great, and within walking distance to everything. Would definitely come back

This wasn’t my first time at this hotel and I actually always love staying at Novotel all around the world. But the thing that makes this one in Marrakech stand out is the amazing service from the employees. They are so kind, helpful, always go the extra mile for us and make the experience wonderful. From the managers to the waiting staff, they’re so friendly that I would come back just for the service!

I stayed at Novotel Marrakech two nights and I regret it. Before arriving to the hotel, I called three times to ask about the parking with no response, 2minutes later I showed at the reception and the girl was sitting in the room next to it, we could here the phone ringing from there... The check-in receptionist was very unfriendly, I can't remember she smiled at all. She didn't care to tell us about the hotel facilities (I still dont know where the pool is for example). The room was good, clean and with nice view on the Sofitel (room416). The toilet was a bit too small and uncomfortable. Breakfast was an unpleasant surprise. There was no buffet (which you'd expect for a 4 stars 100euros/night hotel). When I asked they told me they only surve buffet on weekends. The breakfast menu was bread, eggs, tea or coffee, orange juice, cheese/honey and croissants. I complained that we don't eat eggs ,croissants or orange juice. I asked for fruits so Narciss was nice to bring us some. Restaurant staff in general were very rude and unprofessional, please just review cameras of Saturday 27th 09 to 10am and you will see yourself how they were eating around, laughing and talking( expect Narciss really, don't know if i'm spelling correctly his name). There's a lot more to be said but I feel really sorry that a 4 stars hotel is not properly managed.

Hotel was OK... staff was pleasant... no problems. However, I chose to stay here because the IBIS hotels have become very run down and dirty. Unfortunately Novotel is on the same path. It was a little better than the IBISs but looks old, feels old, it is dark... doesn't fell clean and crisp. One example - the bathroom towels are gray... they are simply too old and need to be discarded. I did not have a bad stay at Novotel, but I come to Marrakech about once a month and I will be looking for a better hotel next time. I'm sorry to say that... I like the Accor brand and use your hotels a lot... but these in Marrakech need updating badly.

The dinner menu reduced and The breakfast was poor I had to leave the hotel to find a place, I was called several times by the lady”manager “ that day fearing that I left without paying...... I am a gold accor member I was not offered neither the welcome drink nor the late check out option,, I was called nervously to come and pay one night stay..... disappointing!!!!

An overall good experience. The pool isn't deep. 1.35 meter deep at best but the water quality is very good. The menu in the restaurant has too little items. The Access to the parking was not convinrent WE had to get out of the hotel then walk for 50 métiers before entering the parking via the véhicule entre ce witch is very dangerous

Marrakech Marathon Trip

This hotel is the ideal place to stay if running in the Marrakech Marathon - the start/finish area is less than five minutes walk away. I was only staying Friday and Saturday night but was given a late checkout of 2pm so that I could get a shower after running the marathon. Pleanty to eat at the breakfast which was included in my rate.

Everything was excellent!!! Location, staff, breakfast, installations. The only thing I think should be improved is the beds... very, very hard, so very uncomfortable.. same for the pillows.. also, if there are 2 beds, there should be 2 night tables (1 on each side) or separate the beds, and have 1 in the middle. Everything else was perfect

hotel is more like hostel -rooms are outdated - full of dust -broken kettle -reception do not care about guest experience -avoid this hotel despite being located at prime location next to sofitel -breakfast not many hot options -loud music in morning at 7.30am like you are in a Pub!

Here on short few points regarding our stay at Novotel Marrakech: - we booked a superior double bed room with pool side view - we got to the hotel and at checkin we asked about the availability of a room upgrade (as per Gold Membership policy). The man in charge at the reception was barely speaking English and he changed our room to one that was the same but on the other side, with street view and very very noisy - we changed our room next day, and we got one with the pool side view, but the air conditioning was not working properly and the window opened suddenly and won't close anymore. After 2 tries the technical team of the hotel managed to find a workaround to fix the window - Breakfast was open from 7 o'clock, anyway at 8 o'clock you can't find too many meals, only if you asked for. There was no one who checked if any meal was empty to refill this. - Same breakfast meals every day, nothing changed during our stay and average variety of the meals - last day we tried to order room service but it was closed for 2 hours because they were serving only a buffet. - the hotel need for sure some renovations I overall rated this stay with average as I had the worst service ever in a Novotel Hotel and I stayed in some Novotel Hotels until now around the world.
