The hotel is located close to Bauman pedestrian street in Kazan and so you can start all your sightseeing activities from here reaching by feet all main sights; The room is quite small but with a decent cleanliness; The breakfast can be considered as average, they offer big choice but the quality is not the best; The staff is absolutely great and extremely nice

Hotel situated in a good location for exploring Kazan. 5 minutes from the main pedestrinised area with many restaurants and 15 minutes walk from the Kazan Kremlin.

The hotel has nice location in the city Center, walking distance to the Kremlin. A lot of restaurants and shops around, with walking distance to the shopping Center Koltso. The breakfast was good with varieties of hot and cold dishes. The staff at the reception could be more professional and friendly, but it was quite common in Kazan to have poor customer service.

I tried a lot if IBIS hotel around Russia and worldwide. But IBIS Kazan didn't make a home feel sense. All stuff was very busy and at the same time was very relaxed. All furniture and hotel condition were shabby. so IBIS Kazan is the first IBIS where I will not return

Perfect location in the centre. Quite old rooms (but not very small). It was quite noisy because of big group of children on the same floor (but it's not about the hotel). Good breakfast but TERRIBLE coffee! Please change coffee beans since it tastes like acorn (I guess so). Price was too high due to high season.

Dust in the room! No water in the room and only 2 tiny glasses to grab some water from the purifier in the hall... Ok, I am not a big fan of the bottled water, it's ok for me to drink water from the purifier, a good idea to reduce plastic consumption, but please, put carafes or jugs in your rooms so guests will be able to grab a healthy and necessary amount of water in one time! No toothpaste... ok, it's cheap, I can buy it, but I need to go to the reception for that! And at the same time I see the advertising paper about the 15-minutes smile team... who promise to make me smile in 15 minutes after my call... by the way all the dust was on this paper!

Everything was excellent - personal, breakfast, rooms. The hotel is located not far from the city center, everything can be reached by foot. I am fully satisfied. Also very good and cheap dinner, very good that you do not need to book it in advance.

Shower cabin is leaking

Overall I was satisfied. But I had small issues, that the shower cabin is leaking making the bathroom floor flooded.

Globally I have been satisfied having stayed in ibis Kazan 4 nights. The position of the hotel in the city center is perfect. As a frequent traveller and a member of the loyalty program, I like to find wherever I go, the same, or at least equivalent facilities and services in all hotels of a common brand. In Kazan, the open space entrance area respects perfectly the ibis touch. So does the accommodation. Room surface, furniture and amenities do not deserve any critic. Room cleaning was also showing a good ibis standard. Unfortunately, some other aspects are left a bit behind. The welcome drink voucher, for instance, doesn’t reflect what the bar attendants are instructed to provide. Instructions for laundry are unclear and differ from standard with a pick up and delivery in the room. But the major failure regarding standard is the lack of bar (or restaurant) attendants training, emphasised by a poor English knowledge. For instance, there is obviously a complete misunderstanding of what concerns room charge. Upon check in, I granted an authorization to open a credit line for whatever could be additional charges like bar or restaurant. Although it was clearly understood while checking in, I’ve been later replied several times that room charge cannot be done. This statement was done without any prior verification about a possible open credit. It resulted in sterile discussions that one may consider as a lack of respect. In this matter, I’m expecting from hotel employees, a behavior that first verifies what the customer says before arguing further – and erroneously. The switching into Russian with a third party during the discussion is another lack of respect. Difficulties to understand English didn’t probably help on that topic. This was also sometimes penalising the understanding of food or drink orders. None of those points are dramatic, but they result in a hotel image that could easily be improved.

The rooms are not the biggest, but overall ok. The breakfasts are very decent, although they cost as much as 2 lunches at the nearest cafes. The location is excellent, 5 minutes and you are on the main street, 15-20 unhurried pace, and you are at the Kremlin. For three stars, this is all very worthy. Now about the cons, and they are. one. The room key was demagnetized 2-3 times a day. 2 There was no closing mechanism in the toilets. Did you ever get a sleepy neighbor at night? And he came to me. 3 No air freshener. Gentlemen, do not need to save on trifles.

Close to city center, nice and fast accommodation, friendly staff. The room 443 is the way too small but comfy, it has everything we needed: single beds, clean linens, soft pillows, wardrobe etc. Unfortunately, the bathroom was toooooo small but we could deal with it. The shower's leaking while I was taking it. No enough space on the sink to put all my stuff. Breakfasts were OK but I wanted it to be a little more diverse and delicious. However they were fine to feed your morning hunger. The undoubtable advantage of Ibis is location – 3 mins walk away from Bauman street, center of tourists and city sights, bistros, souvenir shop and 10-15 minutes’ walk from quay.

We were happy with the location of the hotel, the service desk was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean...but we missed that there was no water heater (kettle) for making tea or coffee and in the room and that we did not get 1 free drinking water per day.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, 10 min walking from Kremlin. The staff is very hospitable, always smiling and ready to help. Portions in the restaurant are very small, breakfast is almost the same every day. Rooms require some renovation. TV works with interruptions.

Everything was excellent during my stay. Especially I was impressed that they have found somewhere that I like to drink tea and provided me a tea-kettle in the room. Very good location. I booked the room with breakfast and dinner. Dinner was very good.
