« After so many years of staying AT NOVOTEL NADI WE WERE SO DISSAPOINTED »

Novotel over the years has been our second home the staff have always been like family to us and made us so welcome.this family trip home was much to be desired we always have our breakfast food at the hotel after going for our breakfast on the sunday morning 8.15 am to find empty containers fruit that looked like it had been cut several days no selection of breads and burnt jams no yogurt , we left minus our breakfast plus my husband being diabetic is always important the time frame of his foodOur room 212 the toilet not flushing we reported to reception who sent a guy to fix it he informed us nothing much could be done but the cupboard outsidewe could flush the tank from there so that became our daily task for 8 days bedsheets need washing well with bleach to freshen and brighten their tired look ,the tiny uncomfortable pillows are so hard and not very fresh leave you to place an item of your clothes over to enable you to sleep .we aware this is no fault of staff they do their very best owners need to bring their families there see look experience what exactly clients are putting up with and spending money on .The Novotel is situated in prime grounds beautiful peaceful that's the attraction , time for heavy changes before this investment crashes down you cannot rely on local conferences to support you you have to reach out to the public thankyou

Very attentive and welcoming staff, lovely grounds and good restaurant but room quality would keep me fro returning. Cooling significantly inadequate, shower moldy and water pressure nil.

service was good. room clean and tidy. Only issue was the aircon in the room failed to work efficiently and spent a lot of time warm enough to actually be sweating. Raised it with reception at least 3 times

« Staff friendly »

The rooms were old looking and needed an update. The bathrooms were not great because of the mold and being a little unclean. The rooms smelt when we first went in. The restaurant was clean, but thought the buffet breakfast wasn’t great as there were flies on the food and birds. Not much variety with the food. There was no atmosphere in the place ie. live music at night. Staff were friendly and supportive.

« Time warp to the 70s! »

I was so disappointed with my stay here! The staff are all excellent and go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable, but the facilities are straight out of the 70s. Our toilet barely flushed, the water pressure in the shower was weak, and the room was really dark. Friends staying here as well had the same issues. We were given plenty of towels by housekeeping, but the room was only swept during our stay. Our bath/shower was already dirty when we arrived and continued to stay that way. The breakfast buffet was heartbreaking. Most of the fruit was uncovered, so birds could (and did) fly in and get them all contaminated. There were insects in the open food containers. Had to stick to croissants and bacon and eggs to avoid getting ill. The hotel wifi is sketchy at best. We had to go down for new codes constantly, as it often just gave out or timed out. It was slow and barely able to load pages of text. It didn’t work on one half of the room! Some of the wifi codes we were given didn’t work either. Despite this, the staff were lovely and tried their best to be helpful. The food/beverage team were so nice every time we went downstairs, and the reception/porters were always willing to help us find taxis. They’re let down by poor maintenance and a lack of renovation!

It was a pleasure to stay here. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms are clean with all amenities you may need. The bed was ,,King-size'' and very comfortable for sleep. Free WiFi works perfectly. The hotel restaurant had a great buffet breakfast, also provided a continental breakfast for the early departure. The hotel is located very close to the airport approximately 5 min. Threre is a free shuttle service from and to the airport and I really appreciate that it is included. I would recommend this hotel for both buisness or pleasure trips.

Extremely helpful staff, very pleasant too. Only issue was with one of the Rosies ladies, who was quite dismissive/unhelpful when she realised we had a car and wouldn't be using her facilities, so she was reluctant in offering information that would have been helpful

« Clean and Big Rooms »

The rooms were big and clean. But the hotel is old. Really appreciate the effort but in by management to have clean rooms and public facilities. The hotel was real quick to clean up the grounds after the cyclone and there was no rubbish left. I can only imagine the pride that the staff might be having in working here. The hotels FC (Bald GUY) was in our block and he made us feel safe and secure during the cyclone.

My family and I thorougly enjoyed our stay. At the height of a recent cyclone, the staff took extreme care of our well being. The room worked out well for our needs and food had variety and great taste to it. Restaurant and the front desk staff were kind and most helpful. We were sad to leave. « Great Service and Clean Rooms »

The stay was a great experience which was during the Tropical Cyclone. It was nice to see the management and staff of the hotel take care of the hotel guests and the FC had gone out to get us some board games to keep us entertained during the whole stuff. Gotta comment on the cleanliness of the rooms despite the age of the property and the fact that the hotel had a cyclone going on.

« Great Staff, Great Location »

My wife and I stayed at the Novotel Nadi on our way to Taveuni and back. It was ideal for this being so close to the airport & with free pickup & drop off. The place is huge! We had 1 room with low WiFi signal but they gave us an actual router for our room. The only reason this isn’t a 10 is that the taxi drivers to Dennarau island didn’t meet us at the agreed upon time & place for pickup at the end of the night. They were taxis that were from the hotel so we thought they were trustworthy. One tried to overcharge us severely and then eventually never showed up and never called us to say he wasn’t coming—when I called him he just lied and said some bs about his phone not working. The other driver took 45 minutes to show up despite his agreeing : we called him asking where he was for pickup at the agreed upon time and he hadn’t left the hotel. So it took an hour to get back another time...so try to find a reliable taxi driver and this will be a great place! I hope the hotel fixes this.

« Dated hotel with an excellent service staff and a very scenic view of the mountains from the restaurant. »

Short stay awaiting a flight, but the staff was cordial and pleasant with plenty of hospitality. The rooms are dated, but accommodating. Enjoyed teh short trip over to Denaru Island, which is 20 minutes away, and enjoyed lunch atthe Hard Rock Cafe at Denaru. The swimming pool appeareed appealing to the guests. Short five minute ride to the Nadi airport. Vinaka...

« No improvement since ACCOR took over »

Having passed through this hotel, in both it's Mocambo and Novotel iterations over several years (normally 1 night transits) it is disappointing to see how little has improved over that time. The rooms look just like they did 10 years ago and the a/c works just as badly. I didn't notice any significant difference in the restaurant either - the food is edible but that is just about it. ACCOR really need to address the whole package - especially at their current prices. Not at all worth it and will not use again until I hear that things have improved considerably!!
