Avoid hotel. If there is a discrepancy, hotel manager will make you stay outside at 2am until resolved

J C Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

I purchased an Accor membership here in China for almost 2600. I asked if I could use the card to book the hotel for my girlfriend and the agent said yes I book the hotel and then the hotel informs me that I have to be there in person. Being I’m not even in the city was a ridiculous request (btw my girlfriend had a substantial deposit down) At 2am my had returned and the manager wouldn’t let her up into the room, a female alone by herself at 2am was not allowed into the room I had booked and confirmed with a deposit down and my credit card on file. They requested that I go to the hotel at 2 am to sign for her When I said I paid 2600 (which only includes two complimentary rooms) for your stupid card I should be allowed to book your room for whoever I want. They said it was mentioned before in your contract upon purchasing your card. However the agent I bought the card from NEVER mentioned this to me or even showed me the contract, which begs to question how they signed my name. Long story short, they charged me for the room and wasn’t able to use my card that I paid for, it was an excruciatingly waste of time and tiresome experience, and I will never stay at this hotel ever again, nor buy their membership. Avoid at all cost. This hospitality company doesn’t understand the word. PS. On Accor’s website, there is no link (phone or email) to contact customer support. If there is, it’s hidden quite well

Stayed on the 29th floor for 3 nights during the Golden week and my 6th stay at this hotel. In the club lounge a lot of improvements have made the stay memorable. The fact that there is more personnel makes the service very smooth and efficient. A big thank you to all of the team including Ashley, Sarah, Echo and their supervisor.
