The room is spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However the overall maintenance of the room is a bit less. Houskeeping did not add my daily brushtooth. Daily breakfast served just the same menu everyday.

I stayed in Pullman executive deluxe king room for 3 nights. Check in process was not entirely pleasant as I waited for about 15 mins for the front desk associates to receive me when there isn't any queue. I called prior to booking to ensure that executive room benefits is make available during my stay. The lounge was closed during my stay despite being told that it will be open and no food is served until 6pm. The room is spacious but the TV size doesn't match the distance the from the couch. I think it's about 42 inch TV and it warrant an upgrade to match the standard of Pullman. Furthermore, they are so skimpy on the shampoo and body wash. I had to called housekeeping few times to get refill the wall attached shampoo and body wash. Breakfast at Puzzle was a nightmare. Food served was not kept at the right temperature. Coffee was horrendous. Coffee machine needs an upgrade as well. Saeco machine was pouring out milk instead of frothing the milk when cappuccino is selected. The coffee tray is full of mold and absolutely disgusting. Food does not get refilled despite asking server and roaming chefs few times. They had students at the egg stations and the eggs didn't turn out the way it should be. On my second day breakfast, I was completely shocked to see rotten pepperoni being served. When I separated the sliced pepperoni, they was green and brown stuff in the between the slices. Violation of food safety standards. Then, I head out to the noodle section, the fish balls were slimy and prawns were bad as well. I file an official complaint at the hotel email address. Front desk manager was truly upholding Pullman standards and values. He listen attentively to my concerns. I appreciate his genuine hospitality.

I had two separate bookings between 30 April to 4 May 2022. The first stay was good as I felt welcomed by the staff and they upgraded me and my mum to a better room (a pleasant surprise thank you!) and I did not have to wait long as I did an online check-in prior to arrival. The staff from bell boy, concierge, reception and housekeeping staff were all very pleasant and friendly. There was even a personalized welcome message from Adrian Ng, the General Manager in my room. After 2 years of not travelling, we felt like kids at the fun fair. :) On my second stay, there was a bit of a screw up as the hotel staff could not cope with the volume of guests during this peak season holiday and there was an "open house" by a Government Minister on that day. So, there was security everywhere and the driveway was completely blocked off. As this was my mum's first time to Kuching, I booked a package via Accor site for the special "tuak" welcome drink and the famed Sarawak layer cake with breakfast included. It seems that the Reception staff was not able to see this "remark" during check-in and in the midst of everything else of being a tourist, I forgot to ask about this package until I checked out and flown back home. I was really disappointed as I was on holiday and wanted to treat my mum to something special after not being able to travel for 2 years. I promptly called the Hotel and spoke to Duty Manager. She (Stephanie) apologized and mentioned that they were unable to see what packages we had paid for. I was hoping they could highlight it and asked me when they can send the welcome drink and cake to us or at least remind us to utilize it before checking out. The Duty Manager mentioned that they will upgrade me during my next stay in Kuching as "compensation". I think it defeats the purpose for Accor members to book through the Accor site for "special" offers / packages if the Hotel reception staff can't see it. This is just my personal viewpoint. I hope this process can be improved in the future as I have never experienced this before and I don't really want a similar negative experience to other guests. During check-in, I was asked to wait although it was already almost 3pm check in time because there was no room available. As we just came out from the rainforest, we felt tired and sweaty and asked if get our room as soon as I have checked in online prior to arrival. Then I had no choice but to state that I was a Silver member and to see if they can help me out. Not my style to "show off" normally. Lo and behold, I was given assigned a room almost immediately. I think the hotel could not cope with the influx of guests during breakfast as a lot of the serving trays / plates were empty and a lot of us we waiting for them to be replenished. So we just had what was available and left quickly as there were a lot of people crowding everywhere. Pullman Kuching is always my first choice to stay in when in Kuching, so I hope all areas can be improved when I come back again. Thank you for the overall satisfactory experience though it can be a lot better.

Stayed during Ramadhan and also during Aidilfitri week. The food for sahur was good as well as for breakfast. The room was big and comfortable with a great bathroom (with both bathtub and shower). The air-conditioning was controllable and made the stay better. I'm happy with the overall service, so that's why I've stayed here a couple of times.

the service was poor n unfriendly staff when i ask for mineral water, lack of amenities include towel, the breakfast was poor and had no enough staff to service customer and we had to pay parking fee. i think this the worst pullman hotel that ive ever stayed.

Satisfactory rooms but complicated check-in system

It takes too long to check-in. I also have a condition that requires only slight customization for the check-in: I booked two nights of the same type of room under two different booking voucher. It takes God knows how many time to talk with the check-in officer. The solution they provided was not practical, first I was told to check-out first, then I was told to get back at 11.30am the second day at the hotel to process my second-night booking. Can you believe it? I am a tourist on a schedule and she asked me to come back in the middle of the day. Why can’t you just take my data and process them later if 11.30am is the time you’re able to process the booking? I am thankful of Andrew though, because he made sure that I didn’t have to check out my first night. But on the second day I didn’t see him at first at the person I met at the lobby made me go back at 11.30am lol. Thankfully she let me not to go back eventually. Make-up room needs to be called because when I got back at 3pm, the room has not been made. At 6pm I had to leave the room again and yet for that 3 hours, I continue to be “on queue” and no house-keeping service came to my room. Breakfast was not satisfactory. Limited variety of food is provided. The egg-counter TAKES TOO LONG to just make an order. It itched me to see one chef cooking using only ONE PAN. Even I can do better than that to manage the queue. Is this even Pullman standard? Overall, the room is clean and spacious enough to let our group rest. Other than the too-complicated-person at the check-in counter, other staffs are friendly.

The only downside is that check in was late with room only being available at 6pm. It’s not convenient when you have a 1 year old toddler with you. Secondly was the access cards simply did not work on the elevator. Was given a reason that the access is brand new and yet to be updated on their system. I’m required to go to the reception for their assistance with the lift every-time I need to get up to my room.
