Overall, the experience was good, but some points need to be improved. The Check in process takes a long time, filling in the same forms previously sent by email (again). There was a delay of almost two hours to deliver the room. I guess the staff of the main restaurant was overloaded. The food was really bad and the restaurant was very dirty. We'd prefer to eat somewhere's else. The staff is great, specially the team that attends at the beach. Everyone's was doing their best to provide the best experience and i have only compliments to them.

Well located, with shopping mall, restaurants and supermarket a few steps away. Excellent swimming pool, heated and clean, with good bar service. Beach front with hotel service and secure. Excellent quality of all meals, and all services very well executed (from desk to room and restaurants).

Hotel is good but below of the Sofitel Global standard, service is ok and some attender looks like not well trainned. We had a problem in the kids club, we didn't allow our son (5 Years old) go to Swimmingpool without us, we have talked with everybody at the kids club about and also add a observation in his notes record and after the time to pick him up, he was in the Swimmingpool with any security. Lucklly nothing happened. Also the service during the breakfast and lunch, looks like some attenders not well trained and less people, long wait to get a single coffee. Also out feeling is that some employees are not customers oriented, probably because because of a lack of training or wrong leadership. But, I would like to mention the people that work on the beach (Tiago, Clair, etx) they are really good and total different of the people that work inside the hotel. I've been in several Sofitel and Accor hotels around the world, most of the time to work, and this one is the worst one. We do expected much better service as Sofitel use to delivery.

much much worse than previous staying

1. Over 30 minutes waiting line for check in; 2. My room 2317 restroom smells like urine; 3. Restaurant closed and people having breakfast and lunch at the living; 4. When I went down to the garage to pick up my car I lost more than 30 minutes waiting for someone to open the gate.

The service is great, the team is helpful and all my requests were nicely filled. The room and view also very nice as well as location and beach area. The only thing I was disappointed with was the buffet allowing self service while most international hotels have implemented service by a water not allowing guests to help themselves at all which becomes a super spreader for Covid.
