I’ll start with the positives. Breakfast selection was great. I also interacted with the front desk, bar & restaurant staff, and all were friendly and helpful! As for the bad… the phone in our room didn’t work, so when I needed to call reception to request towels, or even to order room service, I had to physically walk downstairs. That’s a considerable inconvenience. The shower door also leaked pretty badly. After taking a shower, the floor outside the bathroom would have accumulated a considerable amount of water. So much so, I’d have to put a towel down and double it up, just to step out and not slip. The batteries of our remote started to die only a couple hours after check in. That’s not a big deal, but it took several requests with reception to have replacement ones sent up.

From booking our stay over the phone with Joanne to the Cocktails in the bar we had an amazing experience. Gili the bar manager took pride in his job and was very welcoming. He went far and beyond his responsibilities to keep us happy. We commend him The location is perfect, the hall/reception is spacious. The room was clean. The staff is attentive and professional. The food/buffet in the morning very well presented and fresh. The chef came out from the kitchen several times to check the food. He was well dressed and polite. The swimming/sauna were cleaned and well looked after. We are definitely will be back and have recommended your place to many friends and family. We would like to thank you for your work you doing.

The hotel the hotel (5 mins walk from Paddington Station) is very convenient for travellers from the Southwest and the pool is fantastic.

I’ve stayed in novotel’s a lot over the last 7 months and not once have I had a bad stay, the last stay in paddington was 10/10

Fantastic London birthday mini break

I booked for 2 night to take my 2 teenage children on a London trip as we had booked the Hamilton show as a birthday treat. We chose this hotel as we wanted to try to explore this part of the city and it had a pool. We got a room which slept 3 and we enjoyed all being together in the room. The staff had put balloons, cake and a card in the room to celebrate the birthday which was a wonderful surprise plus a Paddington Bear key ring. Thank you. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the pool. The location was very close to Paddington Tube so we could easily get around. All the staff were so friendly and kind. Even l mid game us an umbrella! The hotel did not seem busy so hopefully this will change over the coming months and we felt very safe regarding Covid.

Good location of Hotel, Not impressed with the rooms. 1st room toilet door was hanging off the hinges, Replacement Room had a faulty shower head which needed replacing,and also a faulty ironing board that was eventually replaced. Room was too warm even with air con on low in December. I changed to Novotel Paddington from Novotel Hammersmith, The original booking at Novotel Hammersmith had a 25% discount and an upgraded Room, Which I gave up to stay at Novotel Paddington. Staff were good but overall wasn't impressed with having to change Room the finding faults with the room we changed to. The hotel wasn't busy at all so I would expect the rooms to be thoroughly checked before check in.

Good location, Poor rooms Air con bit great was too warm in the room even in December. First room door hanging from hinge ,replacement room had faulty ironing board and shower head which had to be replaced. Hotel was fairly empty so would expect rooms to be perfect considering what I paid for a two night stay over the new year

A friendly greeting and a cheerful lobby we’re exactly what we needed after our journey. We checked in a bit early and were pleased with our room and it’s cleanliness and comfort. The pleasing multi-use complex the hotel sits in is perfect for travelers who want convenience close at hand, coffee, groceries etc. Finally a quick safe walk from Paddington station made the stay even more easy. Will definitely be making this our go to hotel on future visits.

Nice hotel with great location but not our favourite holiday. Hotel room we were assigned smelt of sick so they had to move us and the pool was closed on Monday afternoon for maintenance (despite being told it’s open very day) and then was freezing cold so kids didn’t use it eventhough the pool was the main reason for choosing the hotel.

I was not happy with the cleanliness in certain places - lost AirPods so looking for them, found chocolate and rubbish behind sofa bed and also disgusting behind fridge when I turned this on. I have photos and reported to reception. Cost a lot of money to stay in London before Xmas so was disappointed with lack of thorough cleaning. Labelling of gluten free food at breakfast would have been helpful as my coeliac daughter did not know what was safe to eat.

Arrived early but room was ready, staff 100% perfect and should be all paid more. Restaurant buffet breakfast was excellent. Beds were good to. Easy reach of Paddington. Perfect hotel for any London trip.
