Not a good stay. I checked out two days early and moved to the Hilton. Dirty bathroom, A/C did not work, tiny room, horrible towels and linens.

« Great mini holiday in London »

I decided to stay two nights in London after my flight from Austria so I could see my friends again. The hotel is very close to Paddington station which makes it convenient to reach. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home in an instant. My favourite was probably the small spa area with pool, sauna and steam room. A great place to relax after a day in the city. Will definitely come again.

We had a couple of days in London meeting with friends - both staying in same hotel. Ideally located. Comfortable. Good food on the Sunday evening. Great to watch the rugby Sunday afternoon.

Apart from the carpets in the room (I do not like carpeted floors for hygienic reasons), everything was good from a-z. The shoe polisher at the elevators on 4th floor did not work at all....

The hotel was in a great position near Hyde Park. The staff and the hotel were very welcoming. We had a lovely stay and the pool, gym and steam were an added bonus. My partner and I enjoyed the breakfast, great choices. Bar snacks were great too.

« Well located »

OK visit, I'm pleased with the check-in, easier than previous visits. Also when it comes to check out. When checking out I informed about 2 things: #1 Curtain, for three days the curtains was not fixed, three or four curtain hooks were off. #2 Bathroom sink seem to be dense. Air conditions not well functioning. Taxi company you use for pre booking - this is a company I will not use again. Not possible to pay by credit card, only cash. I needed a receipt as well. I think you should inform your guests about this. Being on a business trip I hardly ever have cash.

« Great location for a city visit »

Great stay on the whole. Room and facilities great, good central location, great to leave bags before/ after checking in and out.. Breakfast service not as good as rest of hotel - clearing plates when some of party still eating, hard to find extra cutlery, very slow to get a poached egg. Bit over priced for what it is.

« Excellent weekend »

We spent a great weekend in London based at Novotel Paddington. Staying in the same hotel as some friends it was a good centre for the activities we had planned. Wed enjoyed excellent food in the restaurant on the Sunday evening and the wine waiter was very attentive and helpful.Everything was made very easy for us. Room was comfortable and well appointed and clean We would definitely be happy to return and would recommend If I have one criticism it would be that the room was for the most part too warm and the air conditionin/cooling didn’t seem to work at all

Booked room for 3 but had to ring several times as only 2 cups, towels for 2, pillows for 2. Pillows were very lumpy and towels very worn. Otherwise enjoyed our stay, breakfast was nice, hotel was clean, had a quiet room, staff pleasant.

« Employee of the Weekend.......the guy who clears the tables at breakfast! »

Check in was a bit lengthy ...we were given a room and had just left reception when we were told the room wasn't ready . The check in person then upgraded our room to an Executive and found us a nice one on the top floor so we were very happy. Breakfast tasted good on both mornings and I would really like to praise the gentleman who cleared the tables .He was continually on the go..every time we left the table to get a refill he would collect our dirty plates, cups etc and I noticed he was equally diligent the other tables. This was our 14th visit to your hotel and I think this gentleman has been working there all the time (I think one of his former duties was serving coffee) Anyway we think he deserves the highest praise for all the good work he does.

Had an excellent nights stay at this hotel. Location is in a really nice redeveloped part of Paddington with fantastic easy access from Heathrow Express/Paddington. Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful - Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and well appointed and we had a great nights sleep and good breakfast the next day. Nothing at all to criticise.
