Rooms where not cleaned due to covid? i wish i was made aware of this at booking time as i could have chosen somewhere else. The AC in the room was not affective and the room was very warm. The corridor between rooms on my floor had not been vacuumed the whole time i was there- the same food crumbs was there the first day as it was on the 4th day. The room had no telephone to ring reception and when i did call reception having googled the number no one answered. Although booked out, the place was extremely expensive for what quality was received. The breakfast was great and location couldnt be better

At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. As per Head Office guideline, we only service the room upon request and inform that are not cleaning the room as generic measure. However if you would have shared your request with us, we would have been more than happy to service the room for you as we are doing with other guest request. We have removed the phone from the room since the beginning of the pandemic and have a WhattsApp phone number available to get in touch with us. This phone number is available in every lift. On a positive note, I am glad that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet and our location. Mr M., we appreciate your sharing your concerns, and I would be more than happy to offer you a free room upgrade to our Executive room, upon availability for your next stay with us. All the staff we encountered were polite, helpful and happy. We did not have dinner at the hotel but we did have breakfast buffet which was excellent and we had drinks in the bar on both nights. We enjoyed our visits to the bar. If the cost of the room and parking could be a little lower that would be wonderful but we do know that Liverpool is a very popular destination and all hotel room prices reflect this.

Even after I reported that the air conditioning was not working in my room 1021 I was sent up a fan that was neither use nor ornament as its blowing power was pathetic.

Stayed at the Novotel in Liverpool for two nights with my wife. Very friendly staff at check-in. Nice room, very clean. Disappointed there was no bath in an executive room. Gym, swimming pool and steam room were very good. Lovely breakfast. Good to get discount at parking nearby. Really good stay.

The stay was comfortable and Covid precautions were not too heavy. The only disappointment was the early closure of the bar (the feature we really like about this hotel) due to staff shortages. Admirable staff - friendly and always willing to help.

Good central hotel. Breakfast was good with a selection of choice for us. Novotel still making the decision to not clean rooms during your stay due to covid restrictions, I can understand this to an extent but a room needs cleaned if you are there longer than a couple of days

Very poor reception experience. Electronic door keys didn't work until day 2. Booked swimming for Day 2 but had to miss it as we were waiting for key repair. Charged full price for 3-nights but there was no service, change of towels, sheets or supply of Tea, coffee etc. Bathroom was dangerous. The step-up and down from the bath was particularly high. Position of hotel was good and seemed very clean. Quiet room considering location.

Really disappointed with the poor cleanliness. We felt disgusted. This hotel is not cleaned adequately. The allsafe notices everywhere were an absolute joke as the dirt was visible! The staff did take our complaints seriously and moved us to a different room but the communal areas were also unclean. Have given my feedback and the Novotel/Accor chain replied and said they apologise and are looking into the issues which I appreciate. This should never happen however, especially in a pandemic. I did not feel safe.

Every time we go to Liverpool we stay at your hotel and have always rated it highly. This time we were disappointed. There were no cocktails on offer and our dinner in the evening was not what we expected. The food was good but the starters and mains came at the same time! We commented to the waitress and she said 'I didn't take the order' and walked away! Nothing resolved!!

Another enjoyable stay in the centre of Liverpool. Great staff who worked very hard to make the experience. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to Albert Dock and Liverpool One. 15 minutes to the train station. Restaurants and bars everywhere.

Staff and service were friendly efficient and always helpful . Room was a little tired with signs of wear however it was still very comfortable . Restaurant was good value and well laid out with plenty of room between diners in line with Covid protocols . Pool could be booked for up to an hour which is fantastic when you need to entertain kids . Some usual amenities not available because of covid eg xbox and pool table which under the circumstances is perfectly understandable. The staff at Novotel Liverpool are a great team . Thankyou for your welcome and making our stay safe .

We had a lovely over night stay in this hotel. Easy access, check in simple, lovely staff. Would highly recommend the clean simple rooms with tea making facilities. I will stay again on our next visit .

I stayed at the Novotel as a complimentary night due to my previous stay some months earlier being disappointing. The Team Management Team were quick to own the problems I’d encountered and immediately sought ways in which to proactively ‘put things right’ - Matthew and Daniel, thank you. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, social distancing and enhanced cleaning, my stay was simply faultless this time around and the FOH Team were amazing. The rooms are comfortable, have all the mod cons and amenities expected from the Accor hotel chain and is waking distance to/from the City and Liverpool Lime Street Station.
