I think 80 % of any hotel success depends on its staff. starting from the receptionist going through the house keeping, I found that they are very cooperative. The room needed a little bit more updating with respect to the furniture status and bigger TV screen, but otherwise all other things were OK.

Wanted a room with a view on New years to watch fireworks. We got a room with a great view. Room was spacious and accommodated my spouse and 2 kids. Breakfast had limited choices but we were able to get gluten free bread which is a must go my kid’s dietary requirements.

As for the valet parking and kids play area, they were temporarily suspended as a precaution to prevent the spread of Covid-19. However, we are gradually bringing back these services as the Dubai Municipality are allowing some services to be offered again. The location is good but the hotel need more cleaning the carpet full of coffee and the sofa was not clean

a good place to stay in. in a centralized place, with easy access and exit. the room I had was too tiny, the car parking was crowded.

It has been the third time I am staying at the Novotel Al Barshah (business). This time I wanted to share it with the family. The staff and services are excellent, location is ideal however rooms would certainly need to be refurbished/refresh (furniture, stained carpet, blanket with cigarette holes) and the room is not well isolated especially when staying on the Executive Suite. Once again the staff and management are really professional and make our stay a good one but until new work is done to upgrade the room quality, I may try another Accor group hotel during my next stay in March.

The Tv was not working for 2 days, no towels in the room, rubbish and dirty trays where left in the corridors and to top it up, I found bed bugs on the 3rd day... For an All Platinuim Status member, it is the worst experience i ever had.

Dear Mr. Ramesh, I hope my email finds you well. I am writing to you directly before filling out the survey you communicated to me regarding my stay in your amazing hotel. My overall experience experience was fabulous. I would like to bring to your intention that I am member of Accor all now. The reason why I am writing to you directly is that I have incurred an embarrassing experience by having received an unprofessional behavior from the lady working in the night shift whose I don’t know the name ( she has a blonde hair). Long story short to not take much of your time, I booked through Accor all to extend my stay for 3 more nights as I did the first time, I received the confirmation by email from Accor all saying that the amount is paid apart from a remaining amount that should be paid directly to the hotel. I addressed the lady with respect explaining to her the matter in order for her to check my booking; after she took a look at the system she replied with rudeness that I no payment has been received and if you can show me you bank statement proving that you paid, such a reaction from her has nothing to do with professionalism. I was trying to explain that, in fact the amount has not been deducted from credit card yet but I am afraid if I pay the whole amount to the hotel now, I may be charged twice by the hotel and Accor. I was just trying to understand the process to undertake. She didn’t even want to listen, she treated me like I was trying to swindle her, she made it personal despite the fact that I am the hotel’s guest and not her guest, unlike the other lady working with her in the same shift, she was very attentive and polite and above all so professional she listened to my case carefully, even though the other lady was trying to interrupt us, and she assured me that she would take the necessary action by trying to gather as much information as it requires to to provide me with and keep me posted with regards to the best option for the payment either in the hotel or waiting until the amount is deducted. I really appreciate her conscientious work. On the other side, I would like to thank everybody in the hotel to make my stay formidable and unforgettable, from the fast-responsive housekeeping and room service who incarnate the real meaning of dedication, kindness, and professionalism, to the security gentlemen like Nibba who always welcoming people with smile. Not to mention the personnel in the ground floor bar who are amazing, they do their work with passion every and each one of them deserves a lot of respect. I would also like to thank Caesar the musician for his positive vibes and vivid spirit together with Madu. Last but not least, I would like to thank Sherry and Mohammed in the front desk for their help and kindness upon my checkout. My overall experience experience was great and I intend to come back next week to stay with you guys for a while. That was all Thank you for your consideration Happy new year! Service was fast with housekeeping, it was great! Only issue was, Checking in was taking time. Had to wait for 25 minutes before being accommodated. Lady at reception gave me a non smoking room when I specifically asked for a smoking room. Overall, it was still a great stay.

I traveled to Dubai, UAE during december 2020. I found the hotel more run down since COVID 19 started in early February / March 2020. Lot's of staff and amenitiies were not available (e.g. valet parking) due to the existing situation.

Cleaning staff was good. Hotel is nice and big but cafes etc used to close early. There has to be higher number of activities in order to utilize the place better and keep the guests engaged. Food options were limited, pool was under maintenance. Increase number of vegan options. Make the place lively.

TV streaming always jammed 10th floor smells horrible

Good hotel, friendly staff. Points for improvement: - No complimentary face masks at entrance, while is other hotels they did offer them. - Breakfast is good but for the same price you get a more complete breakfast (incl. Fruit and drinks) at the Novotel closeby - As Gold member I did benefit from an upgrade and complimentary drink. At other hotels they also offer another small welcome gift. They didn’t offer it here. - I wanted to extend my stay and asked for options to upgrade my room with 1 level. The reception said the hotel was fully booked but via the website I still could book many higher rooms. They said it was a system error. However they did offer me a slightly better rate instead which was very nice from them. Positives: - Covid measures are good, there is a great system that measures your temperature at the entrance. The best system seen so far! - Very friendly staff! - Super nice Christmas decoration and a real Christmas atmosphere (with the music) - Good service from the restaurant, they allowed me to order breakfast when they closed the restaurant and let me have the breakfast at the pool.

We had a nice weekend staycation. Breakfast buffet was awesome as there was wide-array of food. Thanks to ANIKETH from reception who assisted us upon check-in. He has a very positive attitude that brings good vibe to guests. He is indeed a precocious asset to your institution. Looking forward on our next weekend staycation.
