Although Accor describes this hotel as Ibis Budget its features are equal to those of a more substantial hotel. The foyer area ; the bar ; the general standard of maintenance ; cleanliness ; and, friendly and helpful staff stand out. I'm not sure about the quality of the food, although the provision of food is helpful during the current lockdown. My room was quiet. I can't work the air conditioning unit. What do the buttons mean on the control panel? I asked for a heater, as the weather was cold. The bed is comfortable, and the good size of the room is great. Since people are welcoming and the hotel seems to be well run you get positive memories.

The hotel and the room were clean and in a very quiet area. But the receptionist was rude and not kind when talking to me. Her face expression was horrible and like didn’t want answer and talk to customers. Shame!

I stayed for 3 nights. Even though there were tight restrictions due to COVID, the staff were very welcoming at made you feel at ease. The rooms are comfortable and the food was good under the circumstances. A special thanks to Azorra and Monica who were very professional and friendly. Nothing was to much to ask. Well done ladies!

The hotel is located in a very quiet area, very close to the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is super helpful, particularly the woman who checked me in, Azzurra, who made me feel valued and welcome. The team is doing quite a good job by keeping the environment covid safe and super clean. Will definitely come back.

I had to get to Bristol airport for 6am on New Year's Eve and so stayed at IBIS Bristol Temple Meads on 30th Dec. I arrived circa 6pm tired & cold but there was a warm welcome for me from Monika who very kindly agreed to print off some travel documents for me - without them, given the current restrictions due to the pandemic, boarding my flight would not have been so easy. Monika attended to my needs and made sure everything was in order even though this was at 7pm - the end of her shift.

The experience was OK. The people are relatively nice, but we couldn't leave our bags after check out. This is the FIRST time this happens to me, we had to pay for the holiday inn to take our bags just because we simply couldn't take them so early. And the people were not understanding/nice. They were completely shut out to talk.

Woke up to a cleaner entering our room 2hours before check out time

On our morning of check out we were woke up 2hours before check out by a cleaner entering our room unannounced, she did apologise but we weren't very happy as it gave us a shock considering our check out wasnt for another 2 hours so left us with a bad experience of our stay. I've stayed in many ibis hotels and not had anything like this happen before, cleaners should know what rooms are occupied and what time the guests will be checking out so not sure how this happened.

So the room was absolutely freezing. Bed was really uncomfortable, we hardly got any sleep on both nights. Toilet was making noises all night. There was partying going on in room across, people sneaking friends in. We really enjoyed the shower and the bathroom. And was a very good sized room
