Hotel is fine but due to social distancing all the roads have been made into a one way system and trying to find the car park when you arrive was tricky . I drove around the town 4 times following the sat nav and then ended up on the NCP instead which apparently was cheaper anyway than the hotels own car park . The room was fine. Breakfast was all served to you , it needed to be ordered the night before due to coronavirus, which I understand but there really is no need for disposable paper cups on the tale. No other cafes or restaurants give you them when you eat in, and neither do other hotels . Staff nice , very helpful . Hotel is in a handy spot for all the tourist sights. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but it would be price dependent.

I like this hotel. Much to commend it. But you need to learn form others in the post COVID world: extra cleaning of rooms, PPE for Housekeeping, cover remote for TV, seal on door. My room was at best very tired (135). Also dirty. The ceiling wall paper coming away, thick dust on carpet, dirty cobwebs in windows, marked cushion on chair. Also cartons of milk old. Hotel is just unloved!

We have PPE and sanitiser, gels, sprays and wipes for use by the team and for guests and wear when necessary. I will certainly discuss your comments with our maintenance and housekeeping departments. I would have rated the experience higher if the standard of cleanliness and hygiene was higher. I was given a room that had mould on the ceiling and a footprint was very visible on the bath ledge. The bath was also badly chipped which poses a health hazard. The staff was helpful and gave me another room. No mould but the bath was also chipped. Because of coronavirus for my safety I requested a new pillow which was not available. Pillows should have been disinfected but they weren’t. Also, I was shocked to discover that there was no mattress protector on the bed. Basic hygiene. Mattress protectors should be on the beds and changed when new quests request it if it is not hotel policy to change them. There was no notice anywhere stating that additional measures have been taken to disinfect the hotel to ensure the quests safety because of the coronavirus outbreak. The wooden frame of the bathroom window in my room had a piece missing which is not acceptable. The carpets were stained. For these reasons I would not recommend the hotel despite it having character and charm. It did not feel or look like a 4 star hotel.

When we found the car park it was full but was told to double park and give keys to reception that I was not that happy to do but when I went back to my car to get my luggage there was a space so no need to give keys staff where very helpful and the hotel is very handy being right in the town

We stayed for one night only for a theatre trip. This is a lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning soon for a longer visit.

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel and I already booked a future stay. Warm check in and staff mostly attentive. A special thanks for Maria, Ana, Gabor, Adam, Lucie, Jules and the 2 women handling the breakfast. This hotel is well located in Stratford-upon-Avon. Cosy hotel with nice rooms. The restaurant is good. Area to be improved : - The air co/heater could be improved, - The Wifi is weak and I were disconnected MANY Times ! - A man in the the restaurant should remember what is a customer. - The breakfast is good however it's VERY repetitive....Please, change at least a dish every day. Overall, I al still staisfied of this hotel an Do recommend it. ;o))

Noisy fan outside our window..kept us awake all nite. Had to change room next morning which was a hassle. Room much smaller. Booked disabled room but was disappointed to find an 'accessibility' room. Told at reception no disabled rooms. Too many steps and stairs and was glad of the lift. Glad of reserved disabled parking. Shame log fires not lit. Would have made it much cosier.

We booked a suite as a treat but when we arrived the room was extremely cold so we called reception and someone came immediately to switch on the aircon system. Unfortunately although it was switched to 29 degrees, the room stayed cold the entire time, even the next morning, although the chill was taken off, which we were grateful for. There were another couple of issues too - the shower was pretty tepid and the towels were like my worst towels at the back of the airing cupboard - the ones you use for decorating or if there is a water spill, those - discoloured and thin. The robes were similar too. The staff were lovely and helpful but it was not the luxurious treat that we were expecting of a suite in a nice hotel in Stratford.

Lovely hotel but wouldn't rush back as the floor boards were really creaky and noisy. We woke up when people above or below us moved around their room and I'm sure we disturbed others when we walked around our room too.
