A range of conference and event spaces gives us the flexibility to host events ranging from one-to-one interviews to board meetings, large conferences and exhibitions, to corporate entertaining and banquets. All of our nine event rooms provide the ideal environment for creative thought and productive meetings. The largest room, the Hopwood Suite, is bathed in natural daylight and can accommodate up to 220 guests. Our Springhill Suite, which was added to the hotel in 2005, is modern, stylish and fully air conditioned.

The ramp to reception was blocked meaning I had to carry the luggage up steps to the reception desk. I asked for a luggage trolly as I had so much luggage. It was pointed in the direction of the trolley and had to get it myself. I then loaded the trolly myself and pushed it to my room. No help was offered at all. Went swimming. Family changing rooms were horrible. Rusty hand dryer. Leaking pipes. I would have been more nervous if my kids been younger invade they touched anything. Went to the bar/restaurant. No room for us to sit down. Waiting 20 minutes before they offered to push together some smaller tables to seat my kids and I. Food was good though and quick service too. Lastly, I needed an iPhone charger. Had to collect it from reception (with 2 young kids in tow) only to find out it didn’t work. Overall, the hotel is dated but small considerations would make a huge difference. Good food and service with a smile - although I don’t feel the reception desk (or management that saw me carrying my luggage to the trolley) should call this a 4* hotel. It’s a big premier inn at best with service that needs some training

Booked a one night stay as was visiting family in the area. Hotel looked lovely, room was clean, bright and comfortable but sadly we were not informed that there was a party night on. We had no sleep as music was thumping loudly till the morning. There must also have been a service door of some sort below us which banged repeatedly during the night along with a water source going on and off for most of the night. We were due to have breakfast and had prepaid it but being up since 3 am we decided to leave early for our long drive home so we could get some sleep in the afternoon. Not knowing the layout of the hotel but it would have been better to have guests not attending the party night accommodated in a quieter part of the building if possible, or at least made us aware that there was an event on when we checked in. Such a pity as we were looking forward to a rare night in a hotel, rather than a motel type establishment.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly, had issue with air con and someone was up in less then 2 minutes. Breakfast was great, made to order options available, spa and facilities were spot on! Enjoyed every minute.

Stayed with you many times before. Lovely hotel and staff. Only criticism this time is I came out in a rash after being in the thermal spa. Stayed many times before and not happened maybe too much chlorine in. As both my partner and I are eyes were very sore.
