A range of conference and event spaces gives us the flexibility to host events ranging from one-to-one interviews to board meetings, large conferences and exhibitions, to corporate entertaining and banquets. All of our nine event rooms provide the ideal environment for creative thought and productive meetings. The largest room, the Hopwood Suite, is bathed in natural daylight and can accommodate up to 220 guests. Our Springhill Suite, which was added to the hotel in 2005, is modern, stylish and fully air conditioned.

The room was lovely and the extras in the privilege room were a luxurious treat. The spa was beautiful and we had such a relaxing time. I found the bed too hard for my liking and there were some cobwebs in the room so this is why I have taken 2 points off.

Couple of annoying issues

Overnight business trip. I found a few minor issues where things could have been better: Bathroom fan wouldn’t turn off (I heard someone else say the same) My shower wouldn’t stay in position so I soaked the bathroom and made washing not as simple as it should be. I’m sure when I stayed years ago there used to be down duvets - these were no longer present. - Shame

noisy hotel guests and room opposite a noisy lift

Room was clean and pleasant, bed too hard for me. Facilities are good, nice pool and sauna rooms etc. My complaint is to the group of young girls in the room adjacent to me who were up until the early hours of the morning screaming and giggling. It took for me and another hotel guest to tell them to shut up and go back to their own rooms. The other hotel guest had actually gone down to reception to complain but there was no one there hence why we had to deal with it ourselves! Then I had to deal with the lift opposite my room that would constantly beep when in operation. So, after a 4.5-hour drive and working until midnight I had around 5 hours of sleep and then another 4.5 hour drive the next day. I was not very impressed and raised this with the reception staff who seemed powerless to do anything about it and advised that there should have been a porter on duty, which could not be found. Overall, very dissatisfied with my stay at Norton Grange Hotel and if I am in the area on business again, I will stay somewhere else.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We do have 1 or 2 or 3 night porters on every night based on business levels. I am highly disappointed to learn they couldn't be found to resolve the noise levels. I will personally investigate who was the night staff on rota on 15th Nov and address them with individually & formally. I recognise this may have marred your visit and your perception of our hotel. In an effort to restore your faith, may I request you to reach for your next stay & I will personally ensure your are allocated with a quite room. Even though there was a problem with my booking when I arrived, they resolved it very quickly upgraded our room and gave us free drink. Staff very helpful and friendly, slept like a baby and breakfast was the best I have had in years, so well done to you all.
