30robbie Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Booked this place after our previous booking had to be cancelled due to maintenance on the pool - very happy we changed to Allegra because the pool here was wonderful. Great water temp and so big. We had a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment which was very well appointed. Our only complaint about the complex was there was no BBQ onsite - which we would have used every night!

We stayed here for four nights as a family specifically to undertake some whale watching. The two bedroom apartment was modern, spacious and clean with the parking underneath the building. Really well equipped kitchen, bathrooms especially the ensuite and the pool area is lovely with a lovely large heated pool. Gym has good equipment and the location is pretty central on the esplanade. Andrew and his wife run a good operation and are friendly and obliging. By looking at other accommodations around Hervey Bay this looks far better and is priced quite well.

This accommodation is one of the best all round experiences we have had. Everything was perfect. Starting with the amazing 29 degree swimming pool. Our Room was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked to allow us to prepare meals and eat in. I would only say a king size bed in the main would have been exceptional. Location was just across road from beach and close to Woolworths and every other main attraction. Undercover parking and we left our 4 bikes tied up with no problems. With 2 small kids the complex is super safe and our veranda has views of the water and esplanade. We would definitely come stay here again.

I cannot believe our luck at blindly selecting Grand Mercure Allegra for our recent seven days in Hervey Bay. It was fantastic. Quite a few other tourists we spoke with were not real happy with their own accomodation, but we were so proud to say we were elated with ours at Allegra. We will recommend it everyone we know heading to Hervey Bay, and wouldn’t consider anywhere else but there ourselves in future trips there.

It is the perfect place to unwind, and it was the perfect place to bring our family, partners, grandkids and some special friends.
