This is in reference to my stay at The Ibis Lausanne Hotel Switzerland I had a confirmed reservation for your hotel with early Check-in on July 20, 2022 checking out July 23 2022. There were 3 people checking in with 2 rooms and being a well travelled person also in customer service I must Tell you the service that was displayed by your employee Vivianna and her Colleague that worked with her was unprofessional and disrespectful. My colleague Claire G. who happens to be fluent in French simply Inquired about checking in early as we arrived at the hotel about 10.30am and tried explaining to this disrespectful kid Vivianna that she paid 30 Francs Additional on your website for early check in. Vivianna advised there were no rooms available for early Check-in and berated Ms G. for being an Ibis elite member and not knowing that it’s all based On availability which she claims is stated on the website. I must tell you Ms. G. who also happens to be in management in Customer Service Also travels extensively and has always used your hotels without any Problems, but the treatment that was witnessed by myself and my other Colleague Mr Michael Kruger and also a customer who was sitting Nearby was Outrageous. This representative and her colleague needs To be thoroughly retrained. They need to be thought some moral Ethics you never raise your voice at a customer or talk down to your customers. They both came across as aggressive and rude and the attitude was as If they didn’t give a dam about us. After a few minutes of aggressively going back and forth she finally said she Had a room for Ms G. but nothing for me until later . The three of us Had to share this tiny room. The room across the hallway was being cleaned So a customer staying on the same floor kindly spoke with the cleaning Person (as I don’t speak French ) and was told she would finish cleaning In 10 minutes. I went back downstairs to advise the representative of what I found out and was told in a very derogatory tone not to bother the cleaning People as they will call and advise them when the rooms were ready . I am telling you I have also stayed at your hotel in several countries and have Never felt so unwanted. This rep never explained anything to us she just Handed Ms G. 1 key card never even told us about the WiFi passcode Never explained or gave us any of the papers explaining we get free access On the bus and train ,that info was given later in the evening when we Got back to the hotel and there were new representatives working. Ms G. did also verify on your website and there is nothing that says It’s based on availability for early access. I was told by your representative when I paid for my room that they would Not charge me for the early Check-in. How does your company justify this type of behavior and what can be said Or done to make me feel like I should return to your company when it is Such a competitive business with lots of options. How do I recommend Your company to anyone ? I am not an unreasonable person but upon Returning to the hotel in the evening I stopped at the front desk to find out If my room was available only to witness the same representative with Another customer with the same kind of behavior talking down to him. This is unacceptable I kindly await your response. Concerned and dissatisfieD I am still waiting on a call back from Ibis I was portray but your mail employee as very Derogatory words of which I am too embarrass to devour

A conveniently located, well appointed Ibis with an underground car park. Helpful and efficient staff at reception and running the bar and cafe. Very comfortable room, specious and with excellenbt showering etc facility. A comment made in respect of other Ibis we have stayed in, it would be a great addition to have the abity to make tea and coffee available in the room.
