« Very nice hotel that I recommend for everyone who visits Rabat. »

My stay in Sofitel Jardin des Rose was just comfortable. The staff was helpful and professional, especially the frond desk one. I had the chance to meet one of the most professional and experienced staff, mainly Hasnaa Yassine, Fatim Zohra and others. Also I would like to thank the portes for their great effort during arrival and departure day. All in all, Sofitel Jardin des Roses is the best place where professionalism and comfort meet.

« The sofitel Rabat is good never had a bad stay »

Food in the Moroccan restaurant was excellent so was the fish restaurant el patio breakfast was great and sophia and bougha looked after me with excellent service I was in room 409 and the maid was very good but I did not know her name to thank her overall the service during the week was very good the only suggestion for improvement is now the bank has closed and I have to change money at reception they should have a good selection of cash ie 20mad and 50mad notes as I tend to use these for tipping the staff otherwise no complaints about my stay

« Very inconsistent customer service - disappointing for such an expensive stay »

Starting even before I arrived: it was extremely difficult to book transport from the Rabat airport to the hotel. Two emails went unanswered -- I had to call seven times (SEVEN!) before I was assured, rather impatiently, that they would arrange a taxi. Once I arrived things were not much better. Your front desk staff all seemed sour, humorless and unhelpful, especially so when I checked out. Room service responded to my requests about 60% of the time -- many times my requests were ignored. The only bright lights were a *few* of your staff: Tarik, and two of your concierges: Ahmed and Adil.

« Not as good as I expected. »

The experience was not as good as I expected from the Sofitel brand. Other than the breakfast restaurant the food was pedestrian and the service was extremely slow- it took over an hour to get dinner one night at the Moroccan restaurant and this level of service or non-service was the same at the other restaurants and bar. My room was clean but the other areas of the hotel e.g. the meeting rooms I was in looked in much need of remodeling with old musty carpets and chairs with holey seat covers. The meeting room service was a disappointment with poor hygiene with meeting glasses being wiped with cloth and replaced on the table as if they were new clean glasses.

« Not a 5 star hotel »

It was a little disappointing: we were expecting a 5 star hotel and it was far from it. We got there late (about7 PM) and after a slow process to get our rooms we both found out that none of the rooms were ready. Came down to inform the front desk and we were assigned new rooms (this time with the view to the street rather than the nice swimming pool view we had before) and again one of the rooms still was being serviced. Not my idea of 5 star service and attention to detail. The hotel needs upgrade - the furniture/pillows in their Moroccan restaurant is falling apart. Having said that the food in this restaurant was very good and the service was impeccable. Sesana (?- not sure of the name) was wonderful, attentive and very helpful with her recommendations ; a true professional. 5 stars to her and to the food in this Restaurant.
