ibis Styles Le Mans South Station Hotel 3 stars

Excellent overnight stay. I was warmly welcomed at reception at 2pm. I passed an excellent night's sleep in an air conditioned room, then had a very good breakfast in a really modern and spacious breakfast area

Good value hotel well located. Good breakfast

We were disappointed to find on arrival that the hotel had only 5 car parking spaces. There was no mention of limited spaces on the Web site. We had to use a nearby public car park which for the overnight stay cost us 20 euros.

Rooms still need to be modernised. But loved the bath. However the newly renovated breakfast room was really nice and there was a good choice of breakfast items (thanks for the soya milk) Staff once agian were very friendly and helpful.

Esaily accessible, close to the station

Once again what made this stay was the friendliness of the staff. Also liked the newly done up breakfast room. Wish bedrooms were less run down, however loved the bath.

Bedroom walls required painting, but Breakfast Restaurant, ample breakfast choices and good service.

Had to request a room change on arrival because, although the first room given to me was on a non-smoking floor, a previous occupant had been smoking heavily in it and left the smell behind. Breakfast room was a good size compared with some Styals hotels,and good range of food.

Just stayed for the night to be near the train station. We didn’t expect room to have no air conditioning.

The air conditioning did not work so the room was hot and we could not cool it without opening the windows. However being in the town centre and next to the railway station, it was too noisy to have the window open. The hair drier had had a short circuit and the casing was broken open so that didn't work. We reported it as because of the danger of electric shocks. The room was in need of decorating as shown by the dirty walls , possibly been used as a smokers room and nicotine stained in the past !!!

Weinig service

Very friendly staff, the rooms were clean and the overall experience was great. The hotel was situated close to the historic centre (15 mins walk) or a short tram journey. The breakfast was excellent.

Rooms were fine, clean and as expected. Overnight our bicycles were attempted to be ripped off our vehicle.. Unsuccessfully due to good locks, but badly damaged. Hotel needs to provide a lock up. This area of town is not safe, walking back from the old town was not a good experience. WiFi in hotel did not work... Awaiting a fix apparently. No eggs at breakfast.. Delivery not arrived. The last two points I can cope with, it happens and frankly its fine, but security is an issue. Not happy. I wrote an email to Accor a week ago and have heard nothing back. Appalling.

Generally good and as expected. Room very hot 26C+ because aircon not able to cope with ambient temperature.
