Wonderful stay at Ocenview Suite

Stayed 4 nights in July 2021. Great location . Stayed at Room no 740 , top floor ocean view suite with Multiple windows providing Amazing views of the beach from Versova to Juhu Chowpatty. Every day high tide low tide and views of white surf from the windows of the room was mesmerising, even at night. Spacious suite : With good WiFi . Bathroom had jacuzzi : very useful at a time when SPA is not available . Food : breakfast was pretty good spread and good service. Meals: Non Veg Risotto, Prawns in Goan Curry were delicious while Chicken in Thai Green Curry was not so good. Should try their Mango Lassi and Irish Coffee Since location is right on beach which is accessible from hotel : we used to take a morning walk on the beach, play frisbee , take pics . A few things which could have been better: the hotel was fully booked . However with restrictions and no scope for entertainment, some in-house entertainment could have been organised . The house keeping lady did a wonderful job but was over stretched and could do our room not before 4 PM. House keeping was very responsive. Room service also was quick. Small issues with extension of stay and reward points was quickly resolved - the GM : Gorav Arora personally got involved . That’s great customer service as things can always go wrong: how quickly they are fixed is more important . In all a wonderful stay

Good stay but needs to improve on maintenance

Please be proactive in identifying and resolving maintenance issues. 1. Our room bed reading light could not be switched off (the button was not functioning). 2. The shower venetian blind could not be rolled up/down as the chain had slipped from the roller. 3. Do not understand why no floor towel or shower cap is provided. 4. The GST amount at the time of booking and in the intimation I received on email calculated GST @ 18% against the applicable rate of 12%. This is a serious issue and must be resolved with your IT team. All the above are small matters for a rated hotel like yours. The cost is negligible. Why wait for the guest to complain? You have 3 hours after every check out to do your own audits. Please do not resort to saving your pennies. You will end up losing customers. Please be proactive for better customer experience.

Room AC was not working have to call Twice , No Toiletry kept in room prior to check-in, No remote for TV, Sound not working on TV, have to called many times the room service to finally get it working even after Check-in all the issue got resolved after 8:00pm

The stay was good and the hotel is very well located. The staff were very welcoming and always willing to serve. Ms Anju and Ms Tejal in front office and Mr Ashok in The Square were very co-operative, professional and made our stay wonderful. Water overflowing from shower area to the room while showering in Room 627 was the only inconvenienced we encountered during our stay.

Pathetic stay and worst customer service ever faced at any hotel

We stayed there fr one night but it was like a nightmare fr us first we had booked two meals with the stay where we were made to wait unnecessarily and that also had only one dish to be ordered per person from a restricted menu plus we had to wait fr 1 hour almost for our food to serve then another one hour fr jus a scoop of ice cream…second the water stopped in entire washroom early in the mrng we called the guest service they took half hour to send someone once the person checked and went it took another half hour fr water supply to get started barely enough to take good 10/15 mins fr one flush tank to fill so overall my 1.5 hr wasted in this and I missed on attending an important meeting at work, while all these issues were neglected by the customer service people they didn’t even have the courtesy to check back with the guest if their problem was solved or not. I WANT A REFUND !!! THATS ALL !!! This wasn’t even a fraction of what a 5 star hotel service is whether it be restaurant room or complaint handling. Never expected this from a brand like Novotel. Really disappointed

My stay was ok with family but only one thing which surprised us was the Tandoori roti which was charged Rs.200 per roti and surprisingly it was not even mentioned in menu.I believe Novtel is a Five star rating hotel.Charging above a limit with no mention in menu is highly improper way .In menu only mentioned 4 chapati worth of Rs.200.

Rifht from checkin to houskeeping everything was in a mess . AC , tv remote , bathrooom water dripping from ceiling . Checkin also took 2 hrs .

Need to ensure safety protocols. Guests were moving without masks. Pointed out more than once but nothing done to enforce. Separately, room did not have basic necessities otherwise provided...dental kit, body lotion. More importantly, we were keen to upgrade to Suite room. Everytime...at the time of booking, check-in call a day prior and on the day of reservation were asked to check at the check-in counter. Difficult to accept. And it was as expected, last minute upgrade was not possible. Was pushed to last minute.

If you wanna see the Juhu beach view only then this is the hotel to go for or to stay in for, other than that there is nothing great left about this hotel Rooms average Bed Mattress below average Cleanliness is good Food is good Hospitality is good Reception alertness and waiting time and easy check in is worst (Had a very bad experience for check in even after checking in from the mobile app still my check in took like 30mins and they gave me a discount saying room charges have dropped down so I was like refunded back and next day while check out they said it was a mistake from their side and they would want the same amount back for the room) --thanks to Mr Amas and Mr Nitish They are giving the latest check in i.e 3pm not before that other hotels give 12pm or 2pm maximum And a lot of voice of doors banging on the 7th floor they are not at all sound proof you can hear loud open and shut of doors in your room that's the worst part

Very disappointing service

Faced many issues when we visited this time. 1. Expected amenities to be shut due to covid, but were told that ALL restaurants would be open. Eventually, turned out that this was not the case. 2. Bedsheets in the room were not clean. Had to get them changed after arrival. 3. Guests were not allowed to visit after mid-night due to "security reasons". Have never seen such a restriction by any other 5 star property. On being questioned, i was shown some fine print on the check-in form that i had signed. Overall quite disappointing.

The hotel is classified as a 5 star hotel but it is really more in the 4 star category in terms of ambience, room interiors and even aspects of service. We had a challenge getting a table for dinner, the shower was not working properly and valet was not available. The location is good, the Gadda de Veda restaurant is worth a visit in evening. Rest is alright.

Even in Pandemic , there was best stay experienced with social distancing and implementation of digital services. The location was near beach and had excellent view from the room . Food tasted fantastic. Front desk and security did their excellent job. Hope to visit soon again. I prefer to share the experience with my family and friends . As always there is always room for more developments and amendments
