Basically had to utilize the stay plus voucher, had decided to go to Pune, but because of the Coronavirus, my wife was little sceptical to travel and also it being her birthday she dint want to take any chances. The check in, due to a little rush at the front desk waited for around 20 mins, but I was happy, as once i was attended, was a quick affair. After checking in, we just stepped out for a spin for a bit. And after returning went for a shower and as soon as I came out i slipped just outside the main bathroom sliding door, realizing the water had seeped out, lucky caught hold of the base where the tea kettle was placed and managed to balance myself and thanked my stars that I dint land on my back or injure myself in anyway and moreover it wasn't my wife in my place or else would have had it for my life. On calling the manager, Saikiran, attended the issue with his engineers and realized that there was a problem with the Gasket from where the water was seeping out. That was the only part that did ruin the evening and stay. Also forgot the initial booking too was a little of a hassel, wasn't being able to get through the Accor plus customer service number 18…, and the site was not showing an option i could redeem my voucher at Novotel, other properties it was showing, then trupti at the reservation desk after calling her a couple of times helped me get a mail for the room confirmation.

The check in process is very tardy and very very long. I spent over 20 minutes for check in. I think the staff at the reception should be quick and efficient.

I got stucked in elevator on 7th march 2020 for few minutes.My experience was terrible and could have resulted in attack had it been for few more minutes. The whole process where elevator will only move on putting the "room entry card" on the sensor is faulty and unpractical. When the card defaults sensor shows red light and elevator does not move.Same thing happened with me. Card got defaulted, by the time I realized it elevator door gets closed.Door does not open on pressing the door open button. Within an few seconds lift starts moving down on level L. Door does not open to my surprise. I again press the door open button but it does not work again.I press the alarm button but there is no response. After few minutes thankfully one attentendant heard the bell and rushes to open the door. Second problem with this system is if there are 2 people in one room and one guest has moved out second cannot leave the room for gym ,etc Everytime when we move out we need to put the room key in our pockets ready to be shown at the elevator. Most would rather place the key safely deep inside their bags rather than just outside . Dr Ankit K.

I just stayed for approx 11 hrs .... checked in around 11 pm and checjed out around 9 am.... Even during these small stay they worked me up for sure... Pathetic and disgusting are the two words I should use for the stay or more for the experience One may be surprised to hear that I was not offered a room key on check in and I was literally escorted to my room by a staff with a kind of master key so that I could enter the room ... some flimsy reason presented to me for not having a key ready though I checked in online ... not say that I spent nearly 10 mins to check in and the guy who checked me in informed that a key will be sent to me as soon as they have the systems up and running ......not really sure I was told that I can use the premium lounge on level 7 during morning hours from 7 am ... alas when I went to that place around 8 am it was another surprise that the guy who was doing kind cleaning and set up said this only works in the dinner time no morning service ... Last but not the least at check out it took them about 10 mins to do that and while I requested to speak to a senior level manager about my displeasure no one even bothered to turn up and speak ...so as to say they probably showed me that Platinum level at ALL does not matter ... they have other important things in life to attend ... so much so for ALL .... So this was one of the worst , pathetic and disgusting treatment I ever had so much that I even did not use my welcome drink coupon and returned with the key card and no one even bothered to ask me why did not i use that .... we care a damn so what if you are ALL platinum ... The message was loud and clear to me as if they were telling ... we don;t need you here and pl don't come again ... if I ever I go here to this property again probably I will go only for the location and nothing more is expected and that is clear to me ...

I stayed at the Novotel Juhu for 2 nights. The bedroom was very nice with an almost sea view (i could see the sea but faced towards the town. The public areas of the hotel were shabby and i was disappointed that the hotel had a pool but no nice area to sit beside it and was full of tiresome birds.What a shame as the hotel is In a wonderful location and so much could be made of it.As it is a french company i was amazed that it could be so neglected and nothing given any thought. As i was unable to sit by the pool, i walked to the lovely JW Marriott down the road,paid my money,and sat by their lovely bird free pool with nice furniture and attentive service all day! What a lovely hotel the Juhu Novotel could be with not much work and what a shame that the company neglect it . Catherine M.

Great reception on arrival, great treatment but forgotten when departing. Asked for luggage assistance and no one came but very helpful with 3 porters rushing to help on arrival. Meet and greet at airport was great with car waiting early; 10 mins late and had to ask several times when leaving. Not too good when we were leaving. Overall not sure if I would stay again as many other great hotels close by..

The hotel property is very nice, but don't that aspect blind you. Because of a special occasion, I was told that there would be cake in the room but only a small pastry was left. When I spoke with guest services, they told me all they leave is a pastry and not a cake, and they mentioned they would call me and confirm if a cake can be given. I never received a call back. Very disappointing. And, turns out it wasn't a free breakfast but a free buffet. So many different varieties of food, and the obvious consequence is wastage. It was disheartening to see so much food was being wasted by people. I feel the underlying problem is the inexperienced and poor staff, that left me with bad taste. I'd recommend people to choose a better hotel and look at all aspects, holistically to get their money's worth.

Stay At Novotel Juhu

Overall the hotel is very good but the service was a bit lacking. The location and rooms are excellent. So was the food (as I always find in Novotels). However there were irritants. Batteries were missing in the remote in the room. There was no in-room menu, I had to make 4 calls before I got the menu.

Good Location but Average Stay Experience

Hi, I am Le accor member since past 5 years and have stayed in multiple Accor Hotels in india and abroad. Most recent being Fairmont Jaipur prior to my stay at Novotel Juhu Beach. The hotel is located at a prime spot with a great view of the Arabian sea and has the potential to be a great property. I had booked a Ocean view Room through the ALL App and wanted to use my upgrade voucher and was offered the same room at the 5th floor instead of the 4th. My request to be upgraded to a suite was denied on the claim that Novotel Juhu Beach was a mid segment hotel and suite could not be offered as an upgrade. When i offered to pay along with the voucher, I was asked to pay the rack rate for the suite. I didn't escalate this further and stayed in the room i had booked but this was a real poor check in experience. I have been upgraded to a suite multiple times at Novotel Aerocity, Delhi without even requesting for an upgrade and here i was being denied an upgrade inspite of wanting to use an upgrade voucher. I stayed for 3 night and the shower drain in my room was clogged and after each shower the room was flooded. This was repaired after two days despite multiple complaints. I took shower in the gym on the 15th morning because of this. The gym itself is very small and ill-equipped and is one of the most ordinary gyms among all the Accor properties I have stayed at. The spa was under renovation and I was not informed about the same during reservation or later by the hotel. The pool side is nice but lacked basic services. There was no one to take order near the pool and when i approached a hotel staff at the Square, i was asked to wait till 2 PM when Gada Da Vida opens to place my drinks order. Later I managed to get drinks by ordering at Olio, which was a lot of hassle. There were only 3 sun beds at the pool side, which i felt was very low considering the hotel was almost full. Even the Beach access door near the Pool was not opened for us when we wanted to walk on the beach at around 8:45 Pm saying that the Door is closed at 8:30 Pm for security reasons, although a security guard was standing there at all times, which again was very flimsy. The Positives - The Food at all the restaurants was great and the service at the restaurants was prompt. Gada Da Vida was a fabulous way to spend the evenings. The Location of the hotel is great and the beach is clean. The overall experience was although quite disappointing and i would definitely not book Novotel Juhu Beach for future Travels to Mumbai.

Worst Hotel Experience ever

This was the worst hotel experience ever. Here are my experiences - Food delayed at restaurant for 1 hour + - Bad quality dumplings - Sampan was understaffed and looked like it was run by kids. - I had to leave the hotel, go and find a restaurant to eat. - asked for water in the room, took 1 hr. to get after calling the manager prashant - Room service took 1 hour to just heat my food and give, made me sign a waiver and confirm twice about responsibility for good quality. Had to again call the manager - Housekeeping misplaced our clothes, had to raise a complaint with 3 different people to get an answer and I am still receiving my shorts via courier - mini bar fridge turned off and stopped working on its own, had to be replaced I am going to find out the process to get refunded for such a bad experience. I might also seek legal counsel to know how I can get the right resolution. I am obviously not going to recommend Novotel to anyone and will also cancel my membership. I am very disappointed and feel cheated and hurt.
