« Pleasant stopover during festive journey »

« An adequate room with a great desk person. »

We stay in Ibis regularly. My wife and I are bike tourers, currently traveling Via Francigena. Both desk staff, reception and checkout were friendly and very efficient. She immediately understood that the bicycles were not just another guest nuisance she had to deal with. If something happens, they get stolen or badly damaged, our trip is over. Bikes went into a secured room and we were checked into our nights stay within 3 minutes. In the morning, your desk made phone calls in an attempt to locate our left behind item.

« A tired Ibis Styles that should be downgraded »

The entire hotel has an air of neglect, with a strong smell of drains in the bathroom, which pervaded the entire bedroom and walls that were in need of painting. The breakfast was sparse and uninteresting. It was the first time for us in an Ibis Styles, chosen for its restaurant, which was unfortunately closed, but the following night we had booked into another one in Milan Est which was a completely different experience, a glamorous 5 star hotel experience with lush restaurant and breakfast buffet.

« Stopover »

Check-in was efficient and friendly as always. Room looks as always, have been staying in the same family room now for years. Bathroom door is a bit noisy now, otherwise everything was fine. It's especially nice to have that big sofabed available for the kids with a movable "wall" curtain. Safe did not work and staff was not able to set the code straight away, other than that, the room was good. Breakfast is amazing at this hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

« Not the hotels fault but the noise from airforce jets was too much. »

Reception could have been more welcoming, we did not realise that the lift went down to the car park level. Room okay except for separate toilet. Bed very comfortable. Bar and dining area deserted so not welcoming. The noise from jets from nearby air base meant we could not relax and get to sleep easily.

I would firstly like to compliment the manager who was on duty at my time of arrival in the evening. In particular his adaptability in providing me with two salads as my main at the time of my eating in the reasturant meal. I recognise that he has to be accountable for the management of the hotel reasturant and as such must comply with the price of the menu and hence the 12 euro charge. However it is a pity that there are not more vegetarian options avaialble on the Accor groups menu's. Relative to the rooms the design of the window blinds are rather poor designfull as they inhibit the window from remaining open. I would be happy to return to the hotel.

We always like to stop in St. Dizier on our way through to the Vosges. The Ibis Styles is also close to the Lac du Der, which is a popular stopping off place. The hotel always makes us feel welcome and the breakfast sets us up for the next day.
