I stayed in Room 208 and I checked out the next morning but I came back again by after 6pm same day and I was allocated room 227 and when I requested to know if room 208 was occupied they said no but it was not cleaned after 10hrs that l left. That was not a good one. Secondly the internet is very poor in the rooms where l lodged. Kindly do something about it to improve on this. Your breakfast was nice and I enjoyed the meals. Keep it up

We came for a week stay at the Ibis Malabo (we had to book rooms for clients and staff). Prior to our stay the manager and staff have been very helpful, we had requests almost everyday and they showed flexibility and always helped us with a smile! My team and I came to organise an event in Malabo and one day we needed a big room to pack our goody bags for our event attendees, the manager gave us the meeting room without a second thought, I really appreciated! The staff was exemplary (speaking multiple languages, always here to help, always smiling..) but I have to say that it is thanks to the AMAZING manager that the hotel is running so smoothly, she is always behind her staff making sure they are doing a good job, and she does not hesitate to work with them to help if need be (the hotel was very busy at the time because of the African development bank annual meetings), she doesn’t hide behind her office and is always around to greet the clients and make sure they have all they need and more at all time! So thank you to the manager and staff (especially William) for their help and they smile. Ps: the food was also good!

« Not worth the price paid »

After paying a huge sum for per night I stayed in a small room which had very basic features. Bathroom made up of complete plastic with total size of 15-20 sqft was a big disappointment. Buffet breakfast was good and overall Hotel ambiance was good. Swimming pool was good and the Garden was huge place to walk. The staff was very annoying as i had bought an prepaid voucher but still they keep asking for the Money.

« I found this stay to be quite average »

This hotel unequivocally has the most unfriendly staff I have encountered in my world travels. They found it impossible to say hello, good morning, how was you stay so far. I had breakfast everyday for 12 days and only one of the bus boys said "good morning" to me. Most of the staff appeared as if they wished they were somewhere else. Very poor training if any...

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the air conditioner did not work ,even after several attempts to repair it. The internet was terrible. It was slow I could not load e-mails onto my laptop.

« Very good standing for an ibis but too much expensive »

Very good experience. Nothing bad to highlight except the fact that i did not succeed in calling the hotel before my trip to book the shuttle and i did not have the shuttle to drop me at the airport after my check out due to a strange rule (the guest needs to book the shuttle 48 hrs before which was not possible for me because i came for one night only and i was not able to reach the hotel over the phone before). Last point, this one is one of the most expensive ibis i ever see in my whole life around the world. Even the food is very expensive.

First room I found the room full of mosquitoes, while in a country that has Malaria. So how it could be full of mosquitoes... F&B at the restaurant are doing good... Chef and food was tasty and clean... Room linen is in a bad condition and pillows so OLD

- Facilities are very poor - Very bad wifi - Staff are polite but nor professional, I think they should have some customer service training - the airport shuttle car is not appropriate and was not even available on my leave and I had to pay for a private taxi at 5 AM in the morning while free airport shuttle is already included in my room rate
