Thank you especially for the help with respect to parking the US Government vehicle. The plate number wouldn't work in your automated system, so the attendants had to manually open the gate for me each day, which they did without any great difficulty. You may consider, though, modifying the system to allow US government plates to work with the automated system as well.

Not really pleasant due to trip need to be shorten but hotel counter inform that still need to be paid for the initial booked duration as bookings was done through company assigned agents. I was asked to go paid the full bill after staying for 5 days. In the end, hotel agreed out of good will, allow to shorten my trip but i incur some charges from credit card billing due to exchange rate.

« Incomplete water drain at shower room »

After taking shower approx 1 min, water is coming up from the drain hole and start pooling at floor at shower space. It looks water is not well drained, and requires maintenance.

« Very good hotel except with a few flaws »

The hotel staff is amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was great except the air conditioning did not really work. The room was too warm for me, but I managed. The breakfast value was not good. In my opinion, the cost was too high for what you receive. All in all the hotel was great, and I will return.

« Room good, amenities poor. »

Rooms are good size, clean and comfortable. Bathroom well appointed and good shower (important!). All rooms should include a clothes iron given most stays must be for business. The hotel bar is always a disappointment — expensive, excruciatingly slow service (even when it's empty) and food below par. Breakfast in the Blupin Restaurant was OK for the price (22,000 won) but selection was quite limited and didn't change from day to day. Quite boring by the end of the week.

« Beautiful property but the room was small, hot, and had very poor lighting. »

Hotel staff were very pleasant and efficient. Check-in and check out was very smooth. the room was 24.7 degrees when I arrived and was never below that despite setting the A/C control as low as 21 degrees (this is the same experience I had during my last stay). Lamp next to the desk had an exposed splice in the electrical cord, light diffusers next to bed and desk were yellowed, all ceiling lights in bedroom area and several hall lights were not functioning.

« Service was good and the staff were friendly overall. Our group was catered for well. »

The rooms were well presented and clean. The buffet had a great variety of quality food and beverages. However I think there is room for improvement to make it an even better stay for your clients: 1) The rooms lacked adequate tea and coffee for two people...one coffee or one tea per person per day is insufficient. Also it would have been good to have a herbal tea available for an evening drink or for people who don't drink tea or coffee. 2) The swimming pool and spa should be available for guests free of charge or at least at half price to the general entry fee. 3) When expresso coffee is provided at events with a large number of non-Koreans, it would be good if a milk jug was made available so people can add milk to their coffee as desired. and, most importantly , 4)Many people in our group were over 70, and were assigned rooms where the shower was over a deep bath. This made shower access dangerous for them. Ease of access to shower facilities should be a priority for your older clients. They shouldn't have to climb over anything in order to access the shower. If these issues were addressed I would increase my rating of your hotel to 9 or 10. Thanks for your time on this.

Everything was good, the first floor was amazing and the breakfast has a big variety of food. The internet doesn't have a password though so that made it difficult for some sites that require a password.

« Very Good Hotel, A little Expensive »

This hotel is outstanding and has a lot of amenities (pool, gym, sauna, restaurant, spa, golf driving range, etc.) Building looks great outside and inside. The room was good. It is a little expensive though so be sure to use the amenities a lot so it is worth the extra expense.

« Good hotel but needs some changes to fit the Grand Mercure marquee »

Good stay overall, but if you are going to name it Grand Mercure, it needs some changes. the rooms need better work areas for business travellers (don't force upgrade to executive room - just need real desk/chairs to work).
