The aircon inside the room definitely has a problem, set it to the lowest temp, 16° C, but it feels like 25-26 Happened also on my previous stay before this, i put the complain and it seems like nothing has changed and then now i just expereinced it again. So, 2 times. The headshower was damaged and didnt work as it should be. Terrible. i complained and then 5 mins the technician came. Good response for this.

i always stay here when i come back to Pangkal Pinang, Novotel is the first choice. But this time, it is not a good experience. I checked in to room 7007, and directly get problem. AC is not cold. Then they reception Angel is very helpful, she changed our room to 6006. We go out for some meetings and then come back later in the evening. Its a busy and hectic day and very tiring. we take shower at 9.30pm and shower doesn't have HOT WATER, only cold water. its too tired to complain. .. next day, AC is HOT again in the room. we complained downstair. Again Angel is very helpful, she send technician, when we are not in the room. when we comeback, they put one portable AC. its cool, but not convenience. why? its noisy (the portable AC has a created a noise), we can't sleep, so we ended to turn off the portable AC. I believed as a 4-5 stars hotel, this is a basic things that should not happen. i really regret to stay at Novotel this time, Second night we are too tired to ask for another room.

I feel safe staying here during the pandemic, especially due to the health and sanitation measures done by the hotel. The rooms are also big and spacious, making our 3-night stay very comfortable.

I was welcomed by a very friendly staff, Mr. Rohmat (if I’m not mistaken his name). He asked me to wait in the lounge while waiting for the queue in the front desk. At the mean time he offered me a cup of ginger tea, which I gladly accepted. And on my journey back to the airport, he drove me there with an astonishing politeness. But all the staff in your hotel are very polite...they always greet the guest! That’s what I love about Novotel Bangka. The breakfast is lovely, although I can’t enjoy most of it since I’m on a very strict diet. May be you can add a special kind of menu for people on a diet like me. And may be there’s something you can do with the slices of fruit that you serve, make them fresher, for a start. I enjoy using your gym, although most of the equipment worked only the upper and lower parts of the body, but not the waist line. It’s just a suggestion. All in all...it was a really good stay there. And I would love to stay there again when I visit Bangka Island in the future.

All items with no exception (eg. slippers, soap, mineral water, etc.) would be better available or doubled as the assumed number of guests per room are two. There is no need for a guest to make any request off those items in necessity.

I already few times stay at Novotel Bangka. Everythings are very great. Room are nice and clean. Breakfast is ok. During pandemic some of the food is cooked by order. But, I’m little bit dissapointed because I don’t know that they don’t have any smoking room anymore. Overall is nice to stay here and will be come back some other time

Since I travelled to pangkal pinang frequently, novotel will be the first in mind. Comfort bed and cleanliness is top notch. Location also premium, near the airport and close to city area. Recommend when you plan to visit bangka..

First visit to Pangkal Pinang. Stayed for 2 night in this hotel. My room is spacious and I get the room that facing the hill. Great view in the morning. Breakfast spread is good with local and international selection.

In general, the services and facilities provided by this hotel are good. The hotel's staff are also professional, easy to talk and able to help and assist when asked. However, the room is considered small and also no extra bed service at this hotel. Without extra bed service, it may be suitable for hotel/s guest with family and more than 1 kid.

One and only international hotel on this island of Bangka. 10 minutes away from the airport. 3 minutes drive to town where you can get your necessary basic shopping and food. No trendy malls on this island. Basically a good base for chinese indonesians to reside and do businiess and of course for locals to play on the wonderful beaches. Hotel itself is wonderful - great breakfast with a good mixture of local and international food. Huge lobby with great service by the receptionists and barmen. Room is standard Novotel new type - good sized no bathtub unless its a suite. Was upgraded to Superior from Standard and was presented with free minibar, fruits and cakes of the day - since im a Gold Accor Club member. :) Great swimming pool to chill - courteous staff and security on duty. With all the great things listed above, i do would like to highlight that the room airconditioning was not too great. it does not reach the optimum air conditioned room. Its more like, 27 degress even tho the air cond screen remote control showed 16 degrees ... with the steaming hot tempreature outside that could reach 38 degrees on some days, a good strong air cond system is surely appreciated. Hotel do not have any cars or van for renting by the day. Receptionists informed that the only van mini bus they have is to ferry guests to and from the airport. Well good to have such service but please, in the name of Novotel, change that van. It looks like it has seen better days! It stank and the aircond is warm rather than cooling. Grab is available and it can be quite cheap for a 1 way trip to get your groceries and needful stuffs. Place is basically quiet and good for resting.
