Tiny room, hard bed and pillows, no restaurant, the minimum of everything. The only good things to be said are that the staff were pleasant and the parking was close. We have no idea how the hotel has 4 stars.

It is not written online that we have a restaurant, my colleagues are here to recommand you the best places to go in Chartres. Our hotel is in the city center and close to a lot of nice restaurants. I was walking back into the hotel at round 20:30 and as normal I said hello to the people at reception and walked to the elevator. One of the staff members called to me. I don't speak French so I wasn't sure if she was talking to me, but she shouted to me aggressively so I turned around and told her, "I'm sorry, I don't speak French". She then said to me in a very unfriendly manner, "what is your room number?". I told her, I showed her my room card... and that was it - no explanation as to why she stopped me. I made me feel very unwelcome.
