In general this is a good choice when you are looking for a decent hotel in the Midi station area. The pro's: Nice bar, good bed, soundproof from outside noise, good breakfast, the location. The con's: Room not very clean (a pil on the floor, dust on the lights) , very noisy other guests in a room several doors away kept me out of my sleep, but the reception send someone to that room.

The hotel is right next door to the Eurostar terminal at Bruxelles Midi and hence during day time in addition to the hotel services one has easy access to the services and shops offered by the station. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful and the hotel is generally clean with an artsy interior. The breakfast buffet offers all you would expect but during COVID times they have reduced the bar/restaurant offering to one day and one evening offering with limited choice in food. Returning to the hotel in the evening, the station location means that one has to walk through a deserted neighborhood with only homeless people and the odd taxi as companions.

International train stations can sometimes be intimidating due to the hustle and bustle that not only big capital cities are known for but, most certainly, also the bigger European train stations such as Brussels South. Regarding the windows, please be informed that - for obvious security reasons - hotels, those are located next to an airport or an international train station are not allowed to have windows that open. Staff was rather friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy. However had the feeling it was understaffed Latham’s due to Covid crisis and hotel had to let go staff ? As it was difficult to get house keeping. And the breakfast was a bit messy. Staff was welcoming but not very organised. Like there was a girl walking around non stop even when there were no plates to clean. She couldn’t have filled the buffet as from time to time a few options were out of stock.

My partner and I stayed at Pullman for our fourth anniversary. when checking in we were congratulated and given a room on the top floor. There was even a small gift and card waiting for us at the hotel room. Such a wonderful surprise on the part of the management at Pullman. We appreciated it very much. The hotel is extremely conveniently located, with an entrance directly from Gare du Nord station! 20 steps from the lift, and you’re already at the station. The room was simple and well-designed. The only comment I will make is that our bathroom did not have hand soap, so we had to call to have some brought up. But the staff did so quickly so this wasn’t a problem at all! Once again, excellent service.

well positioned location for travelers with good inner city standard

The hotel is located in the train station providing access to all major travel in/out of Brussels. Good inner city standard with nice rooms. Might need some renewal in the next years. Due to COVID-19 situation there was probably a lot of in-room dining, which was well visible outside of rooms. Breakfast area and congress/meeting space is very good.

Received a room on the 8th floor and noticed immediately that the hallway and room were very hot. The room did not have a digital thermostat but turned the basic dial to the coldest setting. Returned to the room hours later to find that nothing had improved and the room does not have a window. Went downstairs and the lone night shift attendant was not very helpful but basically explained that cool air is not possible in the fall/winter. Changed rooms and had the same experience. Got very little sleep in what I can only describe as a claustrophobic experience that ultimately ruined a short weekend getaway. To top it off the hotel refused 2 packages that were sent earlier in the week that included my name and arrival date. The pullman is not what it once was.

Don't stay during the cold months

Room is not clean. Hairs on bed sheet and pillow. Shower not cleaned and bath gel from previous customer left in the room. Asked for dental kit and only arrived after 2 calls.

Mask policy in hotel public places

I always my visits at your hotel. However I need to mention the high proportion of guests not wearing masks in the building. We saw many small groups sitting in front of the elevators or riding the elevators without masks. Not the safest environment in view of the rising cases in Belgium. Please consider better monitoring in the public areas of the building.

I have benn a regular visitor of Pullman’s Brussels midi and was very disappointed the last time I stayed ie 19/11-22/11/21. I reported my room shower isn’t working properly and I was informed that the maintenance team doesn’t work on Weekends and had asked to be given another room as I shall be staying for 2 nights only . I arrived on a Friday and did not use the shower, but the next day was a Saturday and wanted to shower and go out . I reported again the hotel send somebody to check but never came back to me . I had been stuck in my room the whole day without having a shower. I am a disable person and felt very bad. I stayed until Sunday and nothing happened until the time , I checked out without having a shower and not even an apology from the hotel. I paid a lot of money and being a very loyal and honest guest , I didn’t feel like complaining as the reception area was quiet busy and preferred to be civilised and complain when I am back home. It was a very bad experience and was shocked the way , I was treated after paying a lot of money and got mistreated and cheated. That was not my expectation and feel misled and robbed off my money. I would like for thevmanagement to seriously investigate my stay situation and come back to me informing me if it was right for me to stay for 2 nights and pay a full rate in a faulty bathroom and was never transferred to another room . I am sorry for reporting but these kind of problems shouldn’t be entertained by Accor management. It was a very disappointing stay and felt robbed.

A Nice Experience and Service - With Some Notes of Improvement

To start, the reception of my arrival was very well-welcomed, I really appreciate the kindness of the staff to upgrade my room and to allow me to check out late without paying an additional fee. The bag of chocolate pralines that received upon my arrival gave me the feeling of joy and comfort. Then, when I came into the room, I am impressed with the cleanliness of the whole room, and I appreciated the amenities equipped in the room. But there are quite some stuffs that are missing. Firstly, No glass/ ceramic mugs for coffee/tea and no glass to clean my mouth after brushing my teeth. there were only 4 pieces of flimsy, paper cup which is not really nice to drink from. I forgot to bring my own toothbrush and toothpaste, and there were none available in my room either. So I am a bit dissapointed with the lackluster amenities situation that was going on But overall. the stay was nice. I just wish that the hotel would put the attention to the detail on the amenities in the rooms as much as in the anyother parts of the hotel, which was excellent.
