Good accommodation but I am sorry for not feeling save here, this time

Overall, the accommodation was clean, tidy, and everything you need for short business trip. I think it has been quite for awhile since my last trip to Ibis Balikpapan, obviously you do good job to maintain and improve the accommodation. I also must give credit to the good breakfast that I have during the stay. However, when I said I wasn't feeling very save here was because my room was in the what so called private floor that lately I realize that everyone in this floor was marked private and meal, laundry, etc were served individually in the small table in front of the door, and I found out that they all are put under quarantine order. I arrived late at night and depart for business early in the morning and arrived back the hotel at night and surprised that my room was not be refreshed. When I call the reception, that's when I know that hotel doesn't refresh the room in private floor due to quarantine order. It was a shocking moment for me knowing that even I have shown my full COVID19 vaccine and negative PCR result, I am still placed in that very room. Even what surprised me was some rooms in my floor was wide opened and some guests gathered in that room. Some guests also use lift to get in and out the private floor. Considering Balikpapan is still in the level 4, that was quite terrified scene. Finally, I am very relief that in next early morning I left the hotel. I am very sorry because never been in Accor properties I feel that way when leaving the hotel.

Easy check in, nice staff but need to improve the toilet in the lobby it was dirty and no tissue there.

I found the toilet/bathroom was not satisfied as following : 1. Toilet cover is not properly attached. Potential injured 2. Soap/shampoo container was broken and almost fall down 3. Below sopa/long chair still not clean well

Entered at 8pm. Lobby aircon was all off. Went to the room. The floor was dusty, was not clean properly. Got a twin bed. The sheets was not change as it can be seen, spots of blood n others. The curtain for the window u can see it for your self from the picture. Tried several time calling the reception but no 1 pick up. Really dissapointed, they didnt even took care of the accor brand.

strategic location, close to work location, good recepsionis service. just the variety of food is less, I was there 6 days already bored the menu on the 3rd day, it's good the menu in the variety, do not fried rice, chicken ( cooked assorted chicken anyway), no beef or fish during my breakfast

In strategic location, but yesterday it was quite not so comfortable as usual before pandemic. Breakfast had to be served by waiters, a little bit dirty, but overall is ok. I often stay here while visiting Balikpapan, and I think it is the best place to stay because all things are easy to reach around neighbourhood.

The hotel for airline people and casual travelers. The advantages for staying here: half. The price for rates. The next door Novotel permits use of pool and fitness center gratis...but don't eat there. Ibis has pleasant staff,hot water, generally reliable internet access and is close to the center of the city. Good value for money.

AC was too cold and could not be adjusted so you need to turn it off. Plus, the white bed sheets, towels and blankets were dirty. They have to change those immediately. they look bad. The breakfast menu was okay. The room was a bit small but the service was okay. lunch menu okay.

The front desk service is good, room is ok, breakfast good but it would be better if there is an egg-station to get scramble eggs, etc. The employees are very helpfull and friendly. The location is good.
