Good location Major problem for me (2nd floor) was vibration from the subway right under the hotel. Wakes you up at 5am and stops at 11pm

The staff at the restaurant is very good and friendly , the buffet breakfast is repetitive and exactly the same every day which becomes boring. I was there for 14 days and found the breakfast buffet to be same everyday. The restaurant manager I Khan is very good , attentive and helped me to find local spots. Kudos to him There is no weight scale in the hotel I checked at the wellness center also but it wasn't there , the weight scale for bag available at the front desk is not working properly. The front desk staff is friendly and cooperative, however I personally think if the rooms are available the late checkout should be extended till 4 pm to Long stay guests , the front desk team extended till 2 pm. The room which I was staying in had an issue with AC which I told a number of times during my stay still there was no solution. Rooms are comfortable, good hygiene, excellent location. You guys should offer water at the time.of.checkin . I had travelled 16 hours reached the hotel and I wanted water the front office lady told me to go to the restaurant , the lady in the restaurant said there is no water.

The quality of sleep and rest of our guests is our greatest priorities, and we fully understand your concerns and the importance of this matter. I am very sorry that in that situation we did not do enough to ensure your comfort and you did not received a prompt offer to change the room. I would like to assure you that this situation is not typical for Mercure Arbat team and I would like to let you know that we have provided an additional training for our team to avoid such miscommunication in the future. Regarding breakfast, I would like to let you know that we try to offer the best value for money in the hotel market in Moscow today by providing a buffet breakfast at a special price. The breakfast menu also corresponds the international standards of the Mercure brand. I will appreciate a lot if you send detailed comments on which of your favorite breakfast dishes you would like to see on the menu to our official email. According the late check-out I would like to pay your attention that your loyalty status has risen to the silver level and if you make your next reservation through the direct channel according to this status we will be glad to provide you complimentary late check-out upon availability till 5 pm and voucher for welcome drink. I travelled to 8 hours to Moscow for a medical appointment. My husband booked the appointment for me through a hotels website. Unfortunately there was a delay checking in as the room was booked in my husband's name, and even though we have the same surname, the staff needed to check with the website company (with a passport in the same surname, this was very frustrating but I understand there was a procedure...just difficult when you're very tired from travelling). Even though it was just before 3pm when this was resolved, my room was then not ready - for a small hotel where the check out time was 12, this was unacceptable. I was so tried and would have liked to freshen up before going to my medical appointment but couldn't wait for the room and so had to go straight there. The room was great when I got in - clean and everything I needed for my stay. I ate at the lobby bar and the staff were polite, attentive, efficient - really top service! I only stayed one night. The lobby bar food and the breakfast were delicious. Overall a great stay, just need to get better at keeping to the check out and clean schedule and a bit of common sense from front desk staff when it was obviously your room.

This is not first time I am staying at this hotel. It is standard 4 star hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wi-fi was pretty bad. This should be fixed urgently I am pretty sure that you can occasionally feel vibrations from metro passing below Additionally, I am writing this report almost 20 days after my stay and money for hotel is still reserved on my card.

Hotel perfectly located a few minutes from shopping areas and metro station. Wide rooms ( for a city hotel) perfectly maintained. Menu from restaurant is a bit limited but you can find a lot of restaurants around the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel twice now, great location and very helpful staff. Rooms are very good too and tasty breakfast in the morning! If you are a bad sleeper, ask for a quiet room as there are rooms overlooking busy road with lots of traffic.

Very nice hotel, excellent location next to Garden Ring and pedestrian (Old) Arbat street, in few steps from Smolenskaya metro station. Elegantly decorated public areas and rooms, very comfortable beds, good shower and all facilities. The room for the breakfast is not very big, however, with everything you want to eat - including hot food and healthy products. Tea and coffee- from the bar (and not from the machine).

Don’t take this room, all night light from rooftop windows that can be closed.early morning sunrise. Very very badly room. We couldn’t believe someone will force us to sleep in this room. Location is very good!

Many guests prefer this kind of room and consider them to be the most romantic. As Mercure Arbat Moscow hotel is located in the historical building of 19th century that is a part of Moscow architectural heritage, our rooms vary in size and layout. But if for any reason you do not like your room, please do not hesitate to contact Reception any time and upon availability we will be glad to offer you another room, so you could feel fully comfortable. We have carefully checked the electric window blinds in room 412 and its efficiency during the night time also. The black out in room is properly provided to ensure quality of night rest in room. It is very pity that you had not informed us that you faced some challenges with using it in the room and we could not improve your experience at our hotel.
