Never going back

I asked in the online booking and again at my arrival, for a quiet room yet the receptionist staffer Javier gave me a noisy room which is looking towards the bus terminal. I had little or no sleep that night because of the noise. Next morning I asked another staffer for a room change to a quiet room; she changed me to a quiet room. No problems after that. I wouldn't believe that staffer Javier didn't know that the room he gave me is noisy. Regardless me paying full rates I still got bad service. Better choose another hotel next time.

Except for Edison, who wasn’t particularly friendly and I had to remind him to put down my wake-up call and he did not want to ask in the office if there were adaptors. Quite different from last January when I stayed for two nights.

Very nice hotel , great staff, very helpful. However, the locations is terrible. It is close to the bus station and the sidewalks are full of vendors. This makes it difficult to walk through. There are many pickpockets. I stayed at this place many times, but in the last two years, I was robbed twice during the day. So if you can, avoid this area.

I arrive to Ibis Central in Santiago and I was expecting a fast check inn after 12 hrs flight, the location is ok but not good for a tourist for the first time in Santiago. I didn’t get any information about breakfast, location, tours ... absolutely zero, only if I asked. On the last day I asked about breakfast and fortunately I find the ambassador and she gave me more information and apologies about the incident, she looks more aware about customer service and she make me feel more welcoming. I hope the rest of the staff can help and support customer service because is one of the main important situation for the hotel.

The accommodation was good as previous time. However I have observations: I chose late check out online and when I ask front desk if I can stay later they said that it was done online and it wouldn’t allow me to. Had I done it at the front desk I could have done it for a different fee. What is that? Online or front desk it’s the same hotel, no? Should customer expect different service online vs front desk? Also, not a huge issue but windows are not properly aealed and allow outside noise in (traffic, buses, honking, etc) in the room. An issue when trying to fall asleep

Plus - very helpful reception, stored our bags while we were away, kept our valuables in the manager's safe, kept our medicines cold, located close to large supermarket, close to public transport (bus & metro) for city and airport, plenty of hot water, good wifi, inroom safe Minus - no plug for basin

Atención de primer nivel...

Everything was good, except for the lack of a bottle (or two) with water in the room. A bottle with water costs less than US$1; therefore, it is not an expensive item to add as a valuable service for the customer/guest.

Good location close to bus terminal and MRT. It is very convenient for us to go somewhere easily. Room is simple but clean with everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful.
