The bed is bad. The sheet is always loose, cannot cover the matress.

The staff is extremely nice, helpful and caring. The hotel is located well near the train station and walking distance from the river and centre. The renovated rooms are nice, but still far from the amazing new Ibis Styles hotels in Warsaw.

Room and location were great. I did realise when we arrived I forgot to double check on whether parking was included... This was important to us so I got a bit stressed for a minute. But we were very lucky, as it was Sunday we could public park for free in the area. Staff was very friendly and I appreciated the nice lunch box we received because breakfast was not available due to COVID. A small improvement could be to communicate this beforehand and to let guests choose what goes on the bread (eg an option with no meat for vegetarians).

Terrible, I was charged for a stay that I did not even do. Due to Covid19 my flight to germany was cancelled yet this hotel still charged me for four nights. terrible

terrible to treat customers this way, not able to come to Germany, no way to get out of the US due to Covid 19 and you still charge me for the full stay. absolutely awful

Spacious and clean room, 5 mins walk from rail station. Easy walk to the centre. Though located not in the better area of Frankfurt, it is still quite safe, even in the evening. Nice reception, got upgraded to double room. Breakfast consists of cold cuts & cereals. Obviously very few occupants now in the midst of coronavirus crisis.

I've stayed here every February for a number of years. The service is always good and the rooms quirky and nice. If there's a problem, then staff help you sort it out.

The hotel was nice and very central so it was easy to get to landmarks and such. It was clean and had a nice breakfast but some employees were very unpleasant. Maybe I got used to Sofitel and higher quality hotels from Accor Hotels were I often stayed but Ibis is still part of Accor so I wasn't expecting such a bad service. During one night and after midnight, I heard loud noise and laughs coming from the next room and smelled a lot of cigarette smoke. When I investigated, some plumbers were working in the next room and were laughing loudly, drinking beer and smoking. I called the front desk who got upset when I told him that this should be dealt with because I had an early plane to catch the next morning. Although I was speaking calmly, he asked me to calm down and that he will take care of that when he can. They did leave 35 minutes later but I find the work after midnight and the attitude of the employee unacceptable. Other than that, all was ok.

Overall, I was pleased with my stay. The hotel was conveniently located close to the train station and nearby restaurants. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable, simple yet tastefully decorated and lit. It looked like they were doing a bit of renovation and painting on the elevator while I was there; but it was still alright. The only off-putting experience I had was with the taxi cab that the person at the front desk called for me. I know that Ibis has no control over the cab drivers. Nonetheless, it would have been more helpful for guests if the front desk/concierge got us honest cab drivers and advised guests beforehand what the average and accurate fare would be. The front desk person/concierge got be a predatory cab driver who told me as we left the hotel that I needed to pay a flat rate of 50 euros to the airport. I insisted that my MyTaxi/FreeNow app showed the fare to only cost about 28 euros to the airport. He insisted that 50 euros was standard rate to the airport. At that point, it was too late to ask him to let me off. It also seemed that the front desk/concierge handed something to the cab driver which I assumed was a commission. After I showed the cab driver I was upset and angrily handed him my 50 euro bill, he gave me back 10 euros, which clearly demonstrated that the 50 euros he was charging me was arbitrary and not an accurate fare. I think Ibis could be more helpful to guests by not getting us predatory cab drivers. It just spoils and otherwise pleasant stay.

This is my fourth year staying at this hotel and it's always a pleasure to come stay. The location is superb as it's two minutes from the main train station and is 15 mins walk to the city center. For a Muslim it's a great place too as all the halal food restaurants are spread in the streets near the hotel.
