« Nice view, clean room »

Booked two rooms during Black Friday Sale with 40% off normal price. Early check in was granted, and rooms were upgraded to harbour-view. Front desk staff were professional and nice. Welcome drink vouchers can be used at the restaurant. The room was clean, with enough amenities including slippers. Our flight departs early so did not use the late-check-out-till-5pm perk for Gold members. The location is great and convenient if you utilize the free shuttle to Hong Kong Station. Generally the brief stay was comfortable and may return next time.

Excellent location and breakfast was outstanding. Staff very friendly and professional. Our room on the 32nd floor had a good view over the harbour. We would stay again. The only down point was that the bed was excessively hard and we didn't see the very small notice re. mattress toppers until the second morning. Two mattress toppers only just made the bed acceptable.

« Hotel was in a convenient location for local transport. »

Upon arrival we were greeted by your consierge who carried our cases in from our taxi. All the staff we met were friendly, polite and accommodating to our requests. Particular praise for Queenie who helped me sort out my flight check-in on the computer. The room was very clean. I certainly recommend your hotel and would use it again if I return to Hong Kong. « Perfect location close to the metro and ferry. Good value for money! »

The location is great to visit Hong Kong. You can easily jump on the metro and reach to central station or Kowloon. This is an Ibis hotel so you get exactly what you pay for - decent room, nice view, and excellent staff. Many thanks especially for the cleaning lady who was smiling all the time - really nice lady! Unfortunately I don't know her name but it's a great asset to your team. I've stayed on 25th floor with a brilliant view (even if it was opposite from the harbour). Starbucks is on the ground level as well. We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The bed was too firm for our taste and this was fixed immediately after we asked by adding an additional soft mattresses on top of the firm one. Moreover, the late check our was a good benefit for us which came free of charge. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are not looking for a luxury stay.

Great location! MTR subway station close & Ding Ding Tram in front of Hotel. Magical view of the harbor from the higher floors. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great communication with the front office about an item I left behind. Really appreciated their help. Serene park by the harbor within blocks of hotel. We will be back

Every thing was very good and service was very good and the room was very nice. The only thing I didnt like was the bed was too hard not comfortable to sleep. We reguested a topper but that didn't help much, I could have used 3 toppers to be comfortable. Other wise everything else was great.

I was very pleased with my accommodation at the Hotel IBIS in Central /Sheung Wan. I am surprised they put Central in the name as it is in Sheung Wan and about a 10 minute walk to Central. The service was very good and the place was tidy and room set up was good. However, the bed was really hard. There was an option to have a mattress topper but that hardly did anything. Good to have free bottled water and a water machine down in the lobby where you can fill up the bottles when empty. Also, loved the work they are doing for the environment.

Would be much better without any Rioters matters. And taxi driver need to be more honest. One difficulty, people can not speak English & Chinese, they mostly speak Cantonese. Difficult to communicate or bargaining. Lots of foods, easy shopping, easy transportation, near Ferry terminal to Macau.

The Ibis is my choice whenever I am in HK. The location is very handy and great to be in a 'local' part of the city but still very close to the cbd and the luxury shops. Rooms are clean and housekeeping is very good.

Check in was quick, we were offered an upgrade to a studio room by email, I asked about that and yes we could have one, at a better rate than was offered in the email! My husband asked about a harbour view but there were none available in a studio however the young man asked if we would like a high floor. We were allocated the top floor! Super view over the city, as we arrived in the dark it was a stunning view. The room was spotless. The extra space of the studio was worth the extra money. The mattress was firm to say the least but a notice offered a topper and it came within 10 minutes of us asking (even in the evening). Breakfast was a buffet and something for everyone. Room cleaning great , room was serviced well. The location is great. On the route H2 of the free shuttle from the express airport train station “Hong Kong”. Several public buses pass the hotel as does the tram. Cafe under hotel does good specials and a happy hour. Several convenience stores nearby and a smashing bakery! My only criticism is the porter didn’t offer to help us with our cases. He held the door open but let me struggle in one of the cases and my husband managed the other. The cases fell off the trolley but still he didn’t help. Actually the luggage trolleys were useless. Too small. We would choose this hotel again when in Hong Kong.

All the staff is very helpfull. With easy access to any transportation, this hotel must be in in the first list when stay in hongkong, for leisure, business or just transit. Comfort bed and many choices of welcome drink, make ibis sheungwan hotel is the best.

It has a very convenient location close to two subway stations and only a 3 mins walk to airport bus stop. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, it was one of the vey few times that i did not need earplugs while sleeping. Very good buffet breakfast, fast wifi. Complimentary late check-out a nice extra. Highly recommended.
