OMG. What an experience from start to finish. Returned to this hotel after 18mths away for a short break. We were not disappointed. Excellent service and treatment by the staff. Due to the current "virus" situation affecting the whole tourist industry, this Hotel was adapting with several small changes. Private Lounge has been moved from 21st Floor to be incorporated into ground floor Restaurant. This seems to be working as you still have great service and food from wonderful staff. Miss Lan has looked after us for over 5 years. Her attention to detail and memory of your likes is amazing. The view up the river from our room was just beautiful. Management staff were always checking to see if they could improve anything. Mr Guy greeted us on our arrival and often found us to have a chat, which we appreciated. Our only disappointment during our stay was we were unable to make a booking for a massage. We were told they were fully booked on the several days that we were free during our stay.

I was extremely happy with our stay at the Grand Mercure in Danang. The location was perfect, close to the action, but still relaxed and quiet. The staff were some of the most helpful and friendly I've ever met (especially Lan, who was exceptional). The room, overlooking the river, was very comfortable too. The reception staff too, were very helpful, and always asked if they could help with our plans.

So lovely hotel and location, the service is always excellent. The receptionist who did check in so friendly and speaking chinese very well. Even my kids had received a special gift from hotel. It was so touching to my family. Im very appriciated and will come back here very soon

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the privilege lounge. The rooms are lovely if not huge. It is centrally locates with a shuttle bus or car to the beach, market or amusement park. They will also arrange private cars to local attractions. The buffet breakfasts cater for all tastes as well as two excellent restaurants.

I was assigned to a room located just in front of the elevator. I stay at the hotel for work every time but it was not considered, which is a bit dissapointed. But overall the stay was pleasant.

I stayed in Grand Mercure for 4 nights, the overhead shower temperature is always on the high side no matter how I adjusted it which left me with the only choice of using the handheld shower head which are not height adjustable. The water was spraying very far and it flooded to the toilet area. Breakfast was good, location not walkable distance to any restaurants or shopping area but there is a shuttle bus.

I feel that Im part of the family, everytime I stay in this hotel. The treatment to the guest is very special. I like keep coming back. The food is also good and many choices. The environment neaeby is also good. There's a nearby tennis court, where you can play a good tennis with other players.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Mercure for 14 days. The hotel is good, but the staff made it fantastic. The staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We got to know some of the staff personally which was very special. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary upgrade to 'prestige', which made the stay even better. We loved the breakfast and complimentary happy hour in the evening. It was a great stay in Da Nang. Next time, we will certainly choose the Grand Mercure again. We also liked the location. We loved walking to the Da Nang center (about 2km) from the hotel along the boulevard. You don't have to cross any large roads (go underneath with viaducts) to get there. It is safe to walk there, even at night.

My room is lovely and big. Good view. The club lounge people are friendly except the booking of the limousine to airport as I must remind them again and again yet the last day I check out I still got the wrong booking as they gave me a Van for my transportation to airport. The orders of the club lounge staff of the food and drinks as they are very easily forget! If they forget must write a note to remember it.

many times stay in Grand Mercure but just back to this hotel after recent stay in Oct as the experience as that time was not too bad. this time i was warmly welcomed at the receptionist then move straight to my room, open main door and i immediately saw a stain that extend from rest-room to main door. I immediately asked the cleaner and the supervisor who took care of my room came right after. I was very surprising that she was blaming that was because of me...my gosh i couldn't believe that she could blame me instead of quickly fix the dirt and apologize for the mistake but it hasn't happened. she then asked the cleaner too clean the dirt but it was spoiled my day. i was staying in the room to work and order in room dining as i haven't launch yet. i order a pasta and you know, the worst pasta i ever eaten. meat ball smells like rancid with strong mud smell ( i supposed they used the food that was leftover from the breakfast to make this for me), i couldn't even eat a quarter. when i call the room service to take it away, she doesn't understand while i just ordered and left everything without eating after 5'. this was not the end, when i checked out the morning next day, i was supposed they have prepared the car to drive me to the airport (this was included in my package) but the staff at the front she did not do that, i asked he did you prepare the car for me or not, i was very rushing to catch the lfight, she quickly made a call ( i supposed she called the car) then i walked to the lobby to wait for my care to come, 5' later i didn't see any care then i came back, i asked her again, did you order car for me or not? she was looking like hasn't done so (could you believe it), finalize she called the car but i was almost missing the flight. p/s: i have also experienced the Chinese restaurant with my customer in the 2nd floor the evening that i arrived, i was another terrible experience as well. which im lazy to write it here, just not to recommend anyone for this restaurant

« Most enjoyable and far exceeded our expectations »

We had a river front family suite which was beautifully furnished and practical, walk-in closet and a half bath in the living room. View was unobstructed and beautiful with total privacy. Service at the executive lounge was superb. They understood my Celiac disease and took great care of me with my breakfasts and evening receptions. Front desk was courteous and helpful and addressed us by name right from the beginning. We were impressed enough that we would go back to DaNang just to stay here. Thank you for the great service.
