The hotel is good. The rooms (I booked the apartment) were nice. The apartment is clean and spacious with good beds. There’s no need to book a breakfast since you can order a perfect cappuccino and a croissant around the corner very affordable. “Due to COVID19” (or maybe Due to economically realsons) the service was limited. I’m an All silver member. There was no welcome drink voucher. The room was cleaned once only after really asking for it. (4 night stay) . All fine. I liked to check out late. Since I’m silver, that’s allows me to have that. Usually 2-4 pm. Since I booked a late flight that was my plan. But there was a 10am check out... when I asked I could stretch it to 11... but 10:20am the cleaners start to knock the doors. All “due to Covid”. They should tell this upon booking. All in all, nice hotel. Good location, good clean room.

About the service and especially the welcome drink, you are right, due the Italian Governement restriction at the moment we decided to hold the welcome drink service. As an important member of Accor we do provvide a different welcome drink with the made in Italy Lurisia soft drink. This product are free and available in the room. We know that this is not the usual service, but at the moment is the only solution to offer to our Guest a good and safe service. Regarding the room cleaning, We do have the service, due the covi-19 was a Hotel choice to let the Guest decied when and how to clean the room. This help us to maintain a balance of prevention and safety for our Staff and more important our Gues. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and was very happy with the cleanliness, the staff and the check in/out experience. There were specific Covid related procedures included in the instructions in my hotel room which gave me confidence that the hotel is considering the safety of guests and staff seriously.

Apartment was good located and confortable. Bad communication from front desk on new rules set by the hotels, inside the apartment we have found the trash from previous costumer and last but not least we have been verbally abused by the parking valet. This has been the worse experience in an Accor Hotel

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations please, allow me to express my sincerest apologies. About your complaint, I would like to focus some points of your remarks. Concerning the trash that you found in the apartment, our General Manger personally apologized with your husband and accredited 2000 points on your Accor member card. Regarding the inconvenient with the checkout time, I deeply sorry if you did not receive the information from our Reception Staff but let me inform you that the new checkout time is also mentioned in our web site. At least, I regret to read that the valet was not friendly. We will investigate with the owner of the garage. It started bad. Receptionist refused upgrade due to unavailability of rooms. I pointed out that they are available on the website, still got a response no availability. I needed to fight for a few minutes until he realised I wouldn't let go a lie. And a miracle there was a possibility of an upgrade. Then I was shocked to get a breakfast box. First of all it was lousy. Second of all why do you say on your website that there is breakfast included?!!! It is not breakfast and it is misleading clients. Even if there is a regulation that no normal breakfast is possible in hotels (which I doubt as restaurants are open) it should be clearly communicated at reservation or just after at the latest - in my country bf is served (even though often just as delivered to the table). Then we got to the room. First thing was to have a shower. And guess what shower head is immediately falling off, water pressure is very poor. Only toiletries in a suite (sic!) was one bath gel and when soap at the bidet. Suite is sold as equipped with a kitchen. What is the use of the kitchen if I found just one plate there? No any other equipment, no cutlery. I received fast check note, so I left cards in the box. But I never received final invoice, specially taking into account that in notes I asked to issue an invoice. So overall it was very bad experience and the worst hotel treatment I had most likely not even this year. Due to that I request a compensation of 6000 points to cover overpayment for breakfast that was not provided, inferior service and lacking room equipment and bathroom state. I also need to warn you that if my request is not met I will file a chargeback request for undelivered service. I also request that you send me an invoice with details I included in my reservation.

After my attempt review to your stay it seems that, you booked through our official web site one Executive room. At your arrival as member of ALL - Accor Live Limitless you request an up-grade in a Suite room that due availability was not available. The room that you mentioned in your review is not the Suite room, but a new brand apartment with king Size bed, living room and Kitchen. We made an upgrade giving you our best apartment that I would like to specify is 753 ft² Contemporary design furnishings apartment, with large entrance, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, free WIFI, TV, laptop safe, tea and coffee making facilities and independent entrance. I am sorry to inform you that in Italy the Breakfast Buffet is not allowed during this emergency. We do provide Breakfast to our Guest, as you written We provide a wide Breakfast Box which contains made in Italy product as bottle of Water, Fruit juice, Classic croissant, Apricot tart, Crackers, cookies, Mini wafer, Extra Orange Jam 20, Cherry extra jam, Organic Acacia Honey, Nutella, BIO rusks, Corn flakes Kellogg', Cutlery. Moreover, we provide Sanitizing wipe sachet. The Breakfast Box can be consume in our Breakfast room where the bartenders prepare espresso coffee served in the tables according to social distancing rules. I deeply sorry to read that you have experienced problems with the shower; we could have fixed it if we would have known. I can assure you that our Reception is always available for any problems. Housekeeping Manager checks every day every single room immediately after the Chambermaids cleans the rooms and of course before Customers arrives, but I will personally double check with the cleaning/maintainers team to verify they are up to standards. Concerning the Kitchen equipment, due the covid19 there is a ministerial order that prohibits equipment not necessary. For this reason, all the Kitchen equipment is available on request if needed. I deeply sorry if you did not receive this information from our Reception Staff. I will investigate with the involve department, checking carefully the issues with our Manager and the Employees you was in contact with during your short stay with us. I understand that this was a different holiday from how we used to, but I can assure you that our smiles, our professionalism, our passion and our care have not changed. Was staying there for 2 nights end of June. Not one of the best Mercures I must say, Bit outdated and not very cozy in terms of rooms, but spotlessly clean. Nice gentleman at checkout was really pleading to review the Hotel in kind of despair that people should come back to Milan, which I'm happily doing. COVID measures are in place in the Hotel and in Restaurants - all good. People disciplined with face masks etc As for the Hotel: If they are such in hope for customers to come I would have expected another kind of check-in experience though. Accor status completley ignored..., not a single 'nice to have you here'... I'm not even talking here about an upgrade that you're normally offered as frequent traveler... (notably in a Hotel that was certainly not very frequented...). If there was not much guests in the past weeks they could have taken a chance to e.g. repair the window in the bedroom which is not closing properly and made it at night rather noisy from the street... Not sure I pick the same place again. Really a bit odd - if my business is really under such a theat as Corona is for the travel industry I woudl really fight for each customer... Not sure Accor thinks that this is needed...

We were staying in Mercure Milano Solari several weeks ago for the weekend. We have rented the apartment with sort of “our own” entrance. It was lovely, clean and comfortable. I have especially enjoyed the fact that the whole apartment was white, clean and spacious. I would strongly recommend this accommodation option for everyone who wants a comfortable getaway in Milan. Also, I have left my jumper which was brand new in the apartment and I have realized this only when I got back home to Lithuania. I texted the hotel and they found it, packed it according the instructions that I have sent to them and helped me to get it back. All the staff was super helpful. Especially thanks for Tatiana and her help throughout the process of getting my stuff back across all Europe. Wishing you all the best! 😊

Software glitches in booking. The room availability shown is never correct. We were not upgraded and the room booked was not even of Executive class. The room was not ready for check in even at 14:00 hours. The late check out was not allowed although I am entitled for late check out.

I spent 3 nights at the Mercure Solari. I love the location, at a few minutes walk from Sant Agostino metro stop ( which is direct from Centrale station so super convenient when traveling by train). Quiet and safe area. Hotel is good. Staff super nice. I had booked a single room and got upgraded to a double room with comfortable king size bed so was cool. No issue of aircon and wifi was working well. I would return there for sure...

Good location, close to city centre. 15 minutes walk to Duomo, good communication by metro (from S. Agostino station). Rooms are clean, breakfast less than average (but you can have good one in the shop at the corner). AIR-CONDITION SUCKS! We had room with large windows on the south side and despite the curtains after a sunny day it was like in the oven. The air condition couldn't cool the room for the nights, which were nightmares. Apart of this, the air-condition seemed to be broken because it was constantly turning off-and-on (every 30 seconds). The front desk staff came to fix it but they couldn't help. They were very sorry and said that this only happens when there is very hot outside (strange that guests need the air-co during summer time, instead of winter). Aaah - and we experienced several blackouts during our stay, let me guess - due to increased use of air-condition because of hot weather? Hey, it's Italy not Finland! Other than that the hotel would be great, but not working air-condition is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel in Italy.

This is very important for us, of course one of the stronger point of our Hotel, always appreciated by all our customers. Concerning the breakfast, our offer is completely different from other bars and clubs in this area. I don't think it's possible to compare them. However, you are right when you say that everywhere in our country you can taste a good Italian coffee. We have concentrated our efforts on quality, quantity and variety of the products offered, Our international buffet breakfast includes pastries and typical Milanese desserts, fresh bread, fruit, cold cuts, five different types of cheese, hot dishes, cold and hot drinks and much more in order to satisfy all our customers, both business one and who comes for leisure. Regarding the inconvenient with the air conditioning system, please let us apologize once again for all the troubles occurred during your stay, I only ask you to believe me that these inconvenient are not due to failures or lack of our system, since we have not received any other complaints before or after your stay. During the period of your stay, as you have rightly underlined, the temperature outside has reached 45°. This temperature has never been reach in the past, caused by a very hot wind coming from Africa. Unfortunately the A2A, Milan Energy Company, due to the hot weather has had lot of problems, which have caused several black outs and consequently the breakdown of our air conditioning system. Believe me, we also have suffer this situation without being able to do anything, except waiting for the problem to be solved, which had always occurred in short time. Air Conditioning of the hotel was working at the time of your stay, is working now and it will work until the temperature outside will make it necessary until the end of the summer season. We hope we could welcome you again here at the Mercure Milano Solari to show you that it has only been a series of unlucky circumstances both for you and for us, which have not allowed you to judge our hotel for what it really deserves.
