I’ve stayed at this hotel around 10 times ever since it opened in 2012, and I’ve had great experiences until now. Since the pandemic it really feels like the service has gone downhill. Firstly, on check in I was asked to pay the full balance in advance. I’m an Accor Diamond member, and the hotel already has my card on file! This meant that no account was opened for me and I had to pay for the restaurant separately. The receptionist was not particularly friendly or helpful either. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to an executive room on the 12th floor on account of my status. The room has a balcony with incredible views, but apart from this it’s now starting to look tired which is a shame. Small details were missed: Toiletries upside down, water thrown in fridge. Although not major things in themselves, they represent a lack of care and attention. This could be a great hotel again - Needs a light refurb and a leader who can help it get its mojo back.

We saved up to have a great weekend in London and booked Novotel following the great recommendations. It was not worth it. Just one of unfortunately many examples: I had tried to talk to them at the middle of our stay that no one had come to clean our room and the lady at the reception asked whether I was sure whether no one had come to clean our room over the past 2 days. I do not know whether she truly felt it is possible someone had come yet made such a little difference that I would not have noticed them being there... Save your money for a hotel that truly is interested in hosting you.

Well located, room a little tired, staff helpful

Overnight stay with family on trip to London. Late checking in, as room wasn’t available until nearly 4pm, but was offered complimentary drinks. Staff were pleasant and service was good, but room was a little tired. Overall it was a good stay and fair value for money.

Not worth the price

This is not a 4 star hotel. To start with, the cleanliness of the room is very poor. You always have to claim because they do not leave towels or toilet paper or tissues. Besides that, they don't clean well. The wifi in the hotel barely works. It is very slow. Breakfast is ok, but there is no one to deal with missing items or when the coffee maker runs out of milk or water. In general, the attention is good, but there are some people who always have an "angry" face.

I was in London for a course and the stay at Novotel was great. Francisco was really helpful in arranging an additional night to allow for travel, during my stay all the staff were lovely, room was spacious/clean/modern, pool area great and all the food was really good. The venue were very accommodating of my diabetes.
