Good service, the Whatsapp room service worked very well. The room was clean although a bit cold for some reason. Good number of plugs and sockets and the wifi was good too.

We loved the efficiency and friendliness of the hotel staff, especially with the added restrictions of covid times and we stayed the night before London went into lockdown 2.0. Hotel is located within walking distance of trains, tubes, buses and main attractions such as London eye, Borough market, etc. We could see the Shard from our room. The bathroom was modern and lovely. It would have been an even more enjoyable stay if the furniture in the room was not as dated, the TV had the option of Netflix or Amazon prime. The Freeview channels didn't all work. However our primary purpose for the visit was to explore London and enjoy the pool, so this didn't spoil our stay.

Front of house staff were exceptional, phoning me as soon as my room was ready for check-in and offering a quiet corner of the building on hearing I was planning to get some work done. They also offered to book me a pool slot while checking in.

We had a great night at the hotel. It was clean and comfortable, the location is great for exploring London, the room was a decent size and very clean, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our 7 year old daughter loved the swimming pool.

We had a gorgeous corner room on the tenth floor so our view was stunning. We had a really romantic time and the staff were lovely. Really went the extra mile with a big smile. The pool was a brilliant addition, a bit chilly but after a few lengths was ok. Was great to have a swim. We had a brilliant stay and will definitely be back. Thanks.

We stayed for my son’s birthday and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it a special stay. I couldn’t fault the service; everyone was really helpful, friendly and polite. Babaye in particular did an amazing job. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfortable (even the sofa bed), breakfast was great (both service and food), and the swimming pool was fantastic. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Had a wonderful night! It was my boyfriends 21st and the display on the bed was such a nice surprise for him. Staff were so lovely and welcoming from the welcome, to our questions being answered, breakfast service and the goodbye. Only slight complaint that really wasn’t an issue was the temperature of the swimming pool was quite chilly.

The hotel staff were exceptional, polite, courteous, helpful and friendly. The food we had in the evening and at breakfast was okay, we appreciated the bottled water in the room. The room was lovely and clean, the bathroom was to a high standard. Unfortunately my husband and I didn't sleep very well, we couldn't get the room temperature comfortable for us, it was fairly cold to begin with , and then just warm air overnight making breathing unpleasant. I spent the night on one section of the sofa bed with one of my children on the other, it was so hard and uncomfortable exacerbating my pre-existing back pain, and my husband found the pillows to be too hard. I fully appreciate that that some of this is personal preference that simply cannot be accomodated. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean with plenty of hand sanitising stations. We enjoyed the use of the swimming pool, although a little cold for my preference, and found it useful to book a session, again observing COVID 19 guidelines. We were pleased with the hotel's good location, and it's proximity to London Blackfriars and the Jubilee Line both of which accomodated the plans we had for our stay. We also appreciated the baggage holding facility.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. The hotel is ideally situated for all attractions. The hotel was very clean and we stayed on the 8th floor so had a wonderful view of the Shard. We didnt get chance to use the pool but it looked nice. The bar area was very relaxing and the food looked good. The guy on front reception was very helpful. Would use this hotel again.

The hotel reception staff were fantastic, especially Dereck. My daughter wanted a hot choc for bed time and he organised this no problem. Breakfast in the room free of charge was a great service too. The swimming pool allotted times was great and made my daughter's stay. Lovely food and massive portion sizes! An all round great stay.

Had a wonderful break with the children. Great hotel for location and safety and also very good value for Monday. We travel to London 2-3 times per year and this hotel is up there with the best. Very close to Southwark tube station.
