Stayed at this property many times over the years and what always gets me back is the two facts that the staff are always kind, friendly and smiling without being over hotelly friendly. The other fact is that this hotel has everything for a solid nice stay, without trying to be anything else. Nice pool although view is now obstructed by plants. Decent poolbar with solid pricing. Booked the suite this time as rooms are a little on the small side. Suite is nice but the livingroom space is still very limited, but overall really nice room. Location perfect for tourists The only thing I didn't like or understand was, why staying in the suite which is the most expensive room of the hotel and also a privilige room, why the guest is put on floors that are 6-7 floors lower than top floors? Especially when asking the staff and finding iut the occupancy is 50% in the hotel and I am the only person in a suite. One would think staff would be nice and put that guest on the top floor suites then. Weird.

The location of the hotel is good and convenient. All around are shopping malls and just 2 minutes to BTS. Regarding breakfast, still have rooms to be improved. Choices are less. Manner of the restaurant staff are not so friendly! Tasting of the food ☹

« Great hotel, good location »

Great location. The hotel is just next to the metro station. There are like 3 shopping mall in 5 minutes walking. It is great that the ibis is downstairs and the Mercure is up so all rooms are high floors with a great view. I liked the swimming pool on the top as well. It is a pity that they put some bushes at the end which blocks the view. Would return to this hotel.

« Great hotel, great location »

Everything went perfectly. Check in process was smooth. Appreciated the welcome gifts and drinks. the room was big and had an awesome view to the city. bed was comfortable. The sliding door in the room is a good idea but the implementation of it was not perfect. It kept opening while in the bathroom and in the end it even fall of the rail and got stuck. The swimming pool is great that it is on the top floor, it is a pity though that there was those bushes there to block the view.

« Area convenience and easy access to MRT »

Although weather very hot but the room and surrounding were cooling. Only when vacuum the carpet the surrounding should spray some air refresher.

« Extremely good location but what a let down in other areas »

Excellent location !!! Good service !! But what a let down in the following areas :- 1. Club lounge food (stayed in club room) not up to standard for a 4 star hotel !!! Perhaps, the management should pay a visit to Avani Atrium Hotel ... less expensive but more varieties and quality food !!! 2. The lighting is so dull in the bathroom that one will have difficulty applying makeup, contact lens, shaving and etc !!! Please change lighting in bathrooms !!! Would I stay again .... probably not !!!

I was concerned to learn about your disappointing visit, and sincerely regret that your satisfaction was affected by noise disturbance from outside. I acknowledge that the hotel is situated in a lively area, right in front of the BTS National Stadium and within walking distance from the main shopping malls may create some noise disturbance. The next door building has indeed carried out maintenance work, unfortunately the outside noise occurs during the day time. This unforeseen situation is beyond the hotel authority , and I deeply empathized with the frustration experienced therefore I would appreciate your forgiveness in this regard. We always strive to provide the best service to our guest, your comment has been shared among the team. In addition, allow me to inform about the hotel facilities, the swimming pool and fitness center are located on the 29th floor; guests can enjoy daily these services from 7AM to 10 PM. The pool was closed for 1 day indeed due to technical purpose, I can guarantee that this situation was a isolated case as daily pool check up is handle by our team. Again, I sincerely hope that the unfortunate issue would not marred your overall impression of the hotel and I hope that you will allow us to restore your confidence by having the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future. I booked 3 rooms for our family holidays directly through Accor as I am a member of Accor and the rates seem better than Booking.com For that category of rooms, the picture on booking.com show that there is a coffee machine in the room. Upon check in, I was disappointed when I was told there is no coffee machine for this category of room. I was made to pay for upgrade to executive room if I want coffee machine and I did. The room is quite small but comfortable. The coffee machine is not Nepresso, some Italien brand,it is ok but I do not like sour or high acidity cofffee.Just a very basic business type room, no luxe. Out of 3 rooms, one was infested with ants and my son was badly bitten on his legs when he woke up the next day. I feedback to the front counter to clean up properly which they did. The location is quite convenient and within walking distance to all the shopping centres. There is 7-11 convenience downstairs which is inexpensive and good for us to get snacks. The executive lounge is small but not bad as they serve breakfast and evening cocktail. For the rate I paid after the upgrade, I would have chosen a better hotel. If u are looking for a budget hotel and can do without coffee machine, this maybe your choice hotel. But still it is not cheap for a budget hotel.

Stayed in Rm2606 with wonderful view of Siam. Appreciate the front office for changing my bed-type from twin to a double. Housekeeping also managed to find a firm pillow when requested.

« Still the best! »

My 2nd visit to this hotel, love the warm hospitality of the staff and the convenience to get around the shopping belt. it is an inconvenience to have to change the elevator at the 9 floors to get to the room. Can the speed of the elevators improve? for the lounge/bar at the 9 floors, it would be good to offer a simple set breakfast menu for guests who do not need the full buffet-style in the morning. The bathroom scale is not accurate, every 5 min you step on it, the result is not the same.

« Very nice hotel and location »

Visited Bangkok for the first time vacation and stayed here. It was a perfect location to go around. All major malls were close and having MBK center within walking distance from the hotel was a major advantage. The hotel rooms and facilities provided were very good. Breakfast buffet had many options and was great.

« Fabulous stay in the heart of Bangkok City »

As Accor member, to stay in Accor hotels will always be my top priority. So, during our family short trip to Bangkok, Thailand, I booked Mercure Siam for entire stay in Bangkok. Two days before arrival, got email from Mrs Deborah Mata, as Guest Relation Manager, informing about my plan to stay in Mercure Siam Bangkok and asking about my exact schedule. Thank you Mrs Deborah. Arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport at 4.30 pm, and arrived in the hotel around 7 pm. We checked in in Privelege Lounge on 25th floor, and Mr Raphael is waiting for us in there, greeting my family. He and his team explaining everything about our stay, we have a discussion there, and surprisingly Mr Raphael can speak Bahasa. Our room upgraded to Suite Room, because Mr Raphael concern about comfortness of my family stay. Thank you Mr Raphael, nice meeting you. Overall stay in the hotel is fabulous.They have great ambience inside the hotel, and very strategic location just beside National Stadium BTS Station. Mostly we're using BTS train because of traffic jam in most area of Bangkok, almost same like in Jakarta, Indonesia. From hotel to Siam area, where many shopping malls located, only several minutes walking from the hotel. Great area! During check out, Mr Raphael is greeting my family again to say goodbye. Great in touch to the costumer! If we have another opportunity to visit Bangkok, for sure we will back to Mercure Siam again.

« Excellent hotel location with helpful and friendly staff »

The stay at the hotel has been a great experience in especially it is located centrally with easy access to many places that we wish to travel to. The staff of the hotel has been very friendly and helpful be it during our check-in and check-out with prompt and seamless processing. The bellman (Vitthaya Ls and Sam) have been very helpful in providing us with the information and advices on our transportation arrangement and enquiries. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all the assistance provided to us by the staff during our stay at the hotel. However, we also wish to feedback that the breakfast menu should have different varieties every day as it seems that majority of the food served during breakfast are almost the same during our 4 nights of stay at the hotel. This will be one area of improvement that we feel the hotel may wish to look into.

We stayed 2 nights - 14 and 18 Dec. Upon request, the hotel set up our sofa bed, additional towel and toothbrushes quickly. Majority of the front reception staff are friendly and welcoming. We are happy that the hotel acceded to our request for high floor and connecting rooms.
