« Friendly Service and Great Location »

Location is a major plus point as the BTS Sky Train station (National Stadium) is right in front of the hotel and the airport express at Priya Thai station is just a 10-min train journey. On top of that, the hotel service is consistently warm and friendly. Another great feature is the 24-hour 7-11 convenient store next to the reception at L1 Lobby with a myriad of fast food and snack choices. Overall, Hotel Ibis Bangkok Siam is a highly recommended choice for both holiday and business travellers.

« Sweet satisfaction hotel experience in Bangkok »

I was staying for two nights in this hotel. A bit of hiccups during the check in because my double booking issues but the front desk staff delightfully assisting me to sort out the matter. My room allocated at the 16th floor is just nice with the view of Bangkok city. This hotel hotel location around Siam Square is so perfect for me as the BTS station, MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon, Bangkok HRC is merely a walking distance. My only concern is during my shower whereby the water pressure is a bit disappointed. Other than that, the service is good plus there is also a 7E at the hotel lobby! I will surely be coming back for my next trip to Bangkok.

« SATISFACTORY AND HAPPY »

Overall front desk staff is efficient and well mannered. Housekeeping staff not so friendly and not very attentive. What I think you should improve on is the toiletries especially the very basic one like toothbrush and toothpaste and shaver and bedroom slipper. Hotel location is good very convenient near BTS and eateries. I like the checkin and checkout very fast and efficient as an Accor members that is the privileges, Thank you.

Room would be more comfy if the below three points made improvement. 1. Surprise No shampoo and toothbrush/paste provided 2. Water pressure is not enough for bathing 3. Frequent Noisy sound from aircon

« Satisfied but can still be improved »

This is our 2nd time, staying in the hotel. The experience is different. We asked for early check in ~ though rooms were not available, we were allowed to leave our baggage in hotel and to pick up after lunch. Breakfast options are still limited. Can consider to provide fried noodles and cooked vegetables on the menu. The window for double bed is bigger, and better sunlight. Lighting in room is still dim, not ideal for work. When we checked in, no floor towels were provided. Also, though eco friendly, we were not given any receipt nor cancellation slip for refund of deposit unlike our last stay. Hope hotel will work with bank on deposit refund. If not, how can we check with you?

« Nice hotel with very helpful staff »

We booked a 1 day extension a few week before we arrive. Techincally it is considered a seperate booking. The staff acknowledged that so that we do not have to change. They also gave us connecting rooms so that the children can walk to the grandparents room without coming out to the main corridor, which is good.

Good location, friendly staff. No hot water for shower until the last days but it's ok for me. Overall I love this hotel for convenience. I will stay in this hotel for my next visit to Bangkok. Highly recommended!!!

« Nice but dissapointing »

I use Accor hotels whenever possible and was somewhat disappointed by the Ibis Bangkok Siam. The rooms (I had to be moved from my original room) were nice, except seeming lack of power points in the room. Oh, I eventually found the hidden power points in my 2nd room but they were hidden by the kettle. In my first room I was woken up at 6am on three out of four mornings (not on Sunday) by music and talking from a source outside the building. My first complaint was met with the front desk telling me that it was a Muslim call-to-prayer and my complaint was dismissed. I knew this was not true as a call-to-prayer does not usually involve pop music. After being woken up on my fourth morning I asked for another room on the other side of the building and was told that the noise was the morning exercise broadcast at the construction site next door. Why this was not admitted on the first morning annoys me. The showers in both rooms had a habit of slowly changing from warm to too hot. On the other hand the staff (aside from the first person answering my call about the noise) were excellent and the room was spotless every day after the maid service. It was also very convenient having the 7-11 in the lobby and having the BTS Skytrain station just outside the front door. If and when I go back to Bangkok I will probably stay at an Accor property but it will not be the Ibis Bangkok Siam.

« Great location and clean room »

BTS National Stadium and a couple of shopping malls are walking distance from hotel, just few mins away. Room is clean and bed/pillow is comfortable. Shower area is small. Water pressure is low and water temperature is not very stable. You need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste etc but can always purchase from 7-11 at hotel lobby which is very handy. Breakfast was good and can be improved with more varieties. Overall we had a good stay for 3 nights!
