I was in Mercure Harbin 1st week of January I was excited to try Mercure Ortigas. The latter pales in comparison from the lobby, to the elevator, to the rooms, to cleanliness. Food is great and very thankful for the basement parking

« Great place to stay »

The hotel is in a great location; near shopping mall and places to eat, accessible to public transport, quiet neighborhood. I feel safe walking around. The room is clean and well supplied with toiletries and towels. The staff are welcoming and the service is prompt. I called to check the remote for the TV not working and having problem with connectivity to the wireless network. The issue was resolved in no time.

« Me and my family had very pleasant stay at your hotel. »

All your staff were very courteous and accommodating, although our AC broke down the first night , we were transferred immediately to another room the next day. Rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were just perfect making our sleep very relaxing indeed. How I wish there were more selection for the breakfast buffet but we did enjoy our breakfast everyday of our stay. Perhaps more fruits and maybe some Filipino breakfast favorites e.g. tocino, adobo, bangus, corned beef, longganisa....( sort of an introduction to foreign guest about our Filipino food). We stayed in your hotel for 5 days, on our first day we were greeted by your lobby receptionist (Mikee) and I told her that we were staying at your hotel because our house (kitchen) was getting a renovation and it was dusty so we opted to stay out. On the third day of our stay when I saw Mikee at the reception she ...with a sense of care ask me how the renovation was going.... it’s the little details that makes you remember the persons you meet each day. Thanks Mikee.indeed we had a pleasant stay.

« Affordable stay with wonderful service »

The staff were nice. Breakfast was delicious with several filling options, and loved the fact that they changed most of the menu on my second day of stay but bacon was always there :-) Room was nice and clean and bed was comfy.

« Not really a good experience »

I had problems with the air con, it’s hot. I set the temperature at 16 degrees celsius with 3 bar of winds. But it’s so hot and can not feel the cold. I told the front desk to send some one to fix it but they never fix it. Worst is it also happened to other rooms that I booked under my name for my friends.

« Hotel is good »

I put up the complaint on Accort site under and till date no one responded. I broke one small white teacup by mistake and was honest enough to inform at the front desk. Who charged me 348 PHP, around 7 USD for that dirty small cup. I feel I have been cheated and abused by the hotel. Not saying that I was accepting a free away.

« Great rooms, an oasis in the city »

I genuinely enjoyed my stay here for 4 days while visiting Manila in January 2020 for a work trip. The staff and room service were attentive, the in-hotel restaurant food was delicious. The rooms were very clean, quiet and spacious with good amenities and the shower was probably the best part with the huge shower head and great water pressure. I would come back and stay here again for sure since it’s very close to our office.

« Good value and location »

Enjoyed the spectacular view from my room facing West overlooking SMC building and Megamall. Frontdesk staff warmly welcomed and promptly facilitated my check in. Buffet breakfast at Kalesa Cafe was the usual sumptious, well-balanced with a nice variety of salads, meats, dairy (eggs, cheeses), bread/pastries, fruits and the to-die-for smoked salmon fillet strips. Restaurant staff were efficiently attentive from serving brewed coffee, getting a glass of apple juice and dishing out my used plates. The only minor disappointment was the absence of bathrobes and non-functional HDMI wall port to the LED TV in my room (#2602) which prevented me from streaming and projecting my favorite movies from my laptop to the LED TV.

« January Staycation »

PROS: 1. Consistent well curated food during the breakfast buffet. Not too wide but each offer tasted really good ensuring a satisfying meal. This is further complemented by Kalesa Cafe's top notch crew who are all warm, ready to assist and knowledgeable about their food offering. 2. Bed, pillows and specially their sheets are high quality for a guaranteed quality sleep. 3. Being a small hotel, corridors are quiet and not crowded. 4. Location is ideal with several malls around within 10 minute walking distance. COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Wish the check-in personnel were as warm and personable as the Kalesa cafe crew. Although during check-out, Denice was warm and efficient. 2. bathroom toiletries lacked conditioner. 3. It appears that that Mercure Ortigas' occupancy was not full at the time (as confirmed by other hotel employees during various times of our overnight stay) and yet the check-in crew could not consider our request for a room facing San Miguel avenue. Front desk staff was asking for P1000+ something for an upgrade. As a LeClub member, we have not experienced this in other Accor hotels during low occupancy period. Nevertheless, another good stay at Mercure.
