Our 4-star Superior Mercure Hotel Kaiserhof Frankfurt City Center offers you the choice between Standard and Superior Rooms, luxuriously furnished Privilege Rooms with double bed and spacious Privilege Suites. All 106 non-smoking rooms are fully air-conditioned, feature free WIFI and a tablet PC for maximum individuality. Children up to age 12 stay for free in their parents' room. Stayed in early February 2023 for two nights. Located on a very busy street. Really close to the main train station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof). This was my first experience with the Mercure brand. Overall, my customer experience during my stay was decent. My check-in/out experience was smooth. The guest agent that handled my check-in/out was polite. I booked a standard room and it was in good condition. Breakfast is really good and busy during peak breakfast hours. The fitness center was closed during my visit. If being close to public transportation is important, then this hotel is worth considering.

Having returned post refurbishment we found the improvement very impressive. The staff friendly and helpful except one lady in the breakfast area. Beds are comfortable. Plenty hot water from a rain maker shower. Would absolutely stay again and happy to recommend.

This excellent hotel is only a few minutes walk from the railway station and about 10 minutes walk from Frankfurt city centre. However, please bear in mind that the hotel is very close to the red light district, there is a sex shop next door and the walk from the station can be somewhat intimidating, particular after dark, so please be mindful of personal security in this area. The modern hotel itself is immaculate with friendly staff. The stairs and lifts cannot be accessed without a room key, contrary to some reports here on TripAdvisor. Our 'Superior' room was clean and exactly as described on the Accor website, with a very comfortable, firm bed and spacious bathroom including a walk in shower. Our 'double' room had two separate beds linked together - common in Europe. Lovely complementary toiletries in the bathroom and daily room service. The windows could be opened for fresh air, radiators heated up very quickly, air-conditioning not used. The breakfast buffet had a very extensive choice of hot and cold dishes. If you have allergies, please seek advice from the helpful staff as allergens are not displayed. I did not have time to use the fitness facilities so I can't comment on these. Overall a great hotel to use when visiting Frankfurt.
